Drive from CBR to CR

How do I get to the CR from the CBR? I am looking at a map that shows one route using World Drive but do you have to go through the MK ticket plaza to get there or is there a lane that goes through for CR?

Also, I see that you can take Buena Vista to Bonnet Creek Pkwy then Vista Blvd and get on World Drive past the plaza.

Which way do you recommend?

Each time I have gone, I went through the ticket plaza. I think that is the only way to go. They do not have a lane for you to buzz right through, however once they see your parking pass they will wave you through. A little tip. When you go through the ticket plaza, get into a right hand lane.

Forgive my ignorance as this will be my first time using a car. I will get a parking pass from CBR when I check in. Correct?

When you check in they will give you a pass for your car.

I would take the Buena Vista, Bonnet Creek, Vista Blvd to World Drive route. It does eliminate going through the MK ticket plaza. It's a little easier than the other way.

If you take the route through the MK ticket plaza, you stay to the right and exit from the main road. It's really close too, that's the tricky part. If you don't make it, you end up in MK parking.

You should have seen me trying to get to WebMasterKathy's house. I called her three times and it was only a 30 minute drive!

If you exit out of the main entrance for Caribbean Beach, you'll want to take a LEFT at that light. Continue down through 3 lights, past the Studios, past the Swan/Dolphin. At the 4th light, bear right, and head onto World Drive. Get into the 2nd from left lane. As you approach the MK toll plaza, be careful, the speed limit changes to 35mph. Stay right at the toll plaza (but not too far, you'll end up in the bus lane). Once past the toll plaza, stay right, and go straight. Keep going along that road, and you will come to the Contemporary. The entire route, there will be signs for Magic Kingdom and as you approach the MK, signs for the Contemporary will appear.

I don't recommend going the Bonnett Creek way, because there are no signs, and since it's a back road with not much on it, it can be intimidating to those who don't know the area. Not to mention, its longer and more confusing.
