Drinks on DDP

I was wondering if you get a large drink or Med drink with DDP and also can you get water instead?

Every CS we ate at gave us whichever size drink we ordered. Yes you can order bottled water and make sure you order a "large water" instead of just saying "water". I couldn't drink a large water with my meal but it was so nice to put the rest in my backpack for later.

Ditto for us, just about everywhere we ate we were given a large drink whether we asked for it that way or not. For table service, we usually asked our server what non-alcoholic beverages were available on the plan and always had the option of smoothies, milkshakes, virgin cocktails, etc. The only exception to this was Mama Melroses's where we were only allowed soft drinks but I think that was because we were booked under the Fantasmic Package.

There are a few Dining Plan locations that provide only medium drinks included with the Dining Plan. The most recent one I've read about (courtesy of aubriee) is the bakery in France at Epcot (while the bakery in Norway offers a large drink).

Every CS place we ate at in Oct gave us whatever size we ordered. The only CS places we ate at in Epcot were Sunshine Seasons, Liberty Inn, and the fish and chips place in England. All gave us large drinks if/when we ordered them. The CS places we ate at in MK-Pecos Bills & Cosmic Rays gave large drinks. As did Flame Tree BBQ in AK.

Bottled water was not allowed with your meal, but you can use a snack credit for it. I was told this at any CS place when I ordered water for my DD. Sometimes I used the snack credit, sometimes I just paid cash. You can get the large size bottled water with a snack credit also

All the CS we ate at rings in what you order, but if you don;t state which size, they give you the smaller one.

We were told is a couple places (WPE is the one I remember) that we couldn't get bottled water as the drink portion of the QS credit. We could either use a snack credit for the bottle, or get water from the soda fountain.

Every counter service that I asked for bottled water let me have it, I didn't ask for it at WPE because I felt like a soda but at sunshine seasons there was no quibbling about the water.

So it sounds like guests should be prepared for anything with regard to the soft drink portion of their meals: being limited to medium versus being allowed any size; being limited to fountain drinks versus being allowed specialty drinks and/or bottled water.

I ordered a large drink with a meal at Yakitori House (Japanese CS in Epcot) and the CM said you get a medium drink with the plan.
