Drinks from San Angel Inn to go?

We will be at EPCOT on New Year's Eve and were able to snag a dinner reservation at San Angel Inn, but for much later than we would have liked. By the time we are done with dinner, it will be getting close to midnight. I'm wondering if we would be able to order a round of margaritas to go--to take with us as we watch the countdown and the fireworks (if that is even happening this year). Otherwise I fear that we will be standing in an endless drink line somewhere at midnight with nothing in hand to toast in the new year.

Does anyone know if the EPCOT table service restaurants will sell you a drink to go (in an appropriate container)?

I do not have specific experience at San Angel, but the Rose and Crown pub will serve drinks in to-go cups, so perhaps this is available elsewhere.

The Biergarten will also give you a plastic cup to go if you haven't finished when you leave (we had ordered liters of beer).

If you can't get them from San Angel Inn (though it sounds like other EPCOT restaurants do, so hopefully they will), La Cava del Tequila is there too and I know you can get to-go margaritas from them.

I thought about that, but I'm guessing that there will be a huge line at La Cava at 11:30 on New Year's Eve!

Haha yeah, good point! Didn't realize it would be that close to midnight. Probably still your best option if San Angel won't let you take drinks in plastic cups (but fingers crossed they will).

Regal Eagle does mobile order and has beer and a Tennessee Lemonade. You could put the order in early in the day for late.

EDIT: Sommerfest does too, beer and wine. Connections Eatery has a margarita, beer, and wine. Yorkshire Fish Shop has beer. These are all on mobile order.

Just closing the loop on this in case anyone comes across the this thread with a similar question in the future.

San Angel Inn was happy to sell us a final round of margaritas to go, in appropriate plastic cups. And they worked perfectly to toast the new year after the fireworks.
