Drinks at the Boardwalk?

I visited Leaping Horse Libations (Boardwalk's pool bar) every afternoon on our last family trip for a Bloody Mary. They open early, around 11 am.

Another consideration for you:

We never take the bus to the MK if we are staying at the Boardwalk area with park hoppers. Instead, we will walk through Epcot and take the monorail.

You could stop at the English pub on your way to the monorail if you have park hoppers. What a great way to begin a trip! Have one for me, too!

Edit: I see someone else has already posted this idea. Great minds think alike!

Thanks so much. Do you happen to know how long the bus is from BWV to MK? We have a PPO ADR for BOG. Not sure the monorail would work for something like that. I see this is getting a bit off topic. Sorry!

I remember it taking about 15 minutes because I was looking at my watch and stressing about making an ADR during our last trip. It took FOREVER for an MK bus to show up while AK/DS showed up over and over again. I was kicking myself the whole time for not just walking through Epcot like we always do. I have no idea if that is common since it is the only time I've tried the bus to MK from the Boardwalk area.

And no, you wouldn't be able to take the monorail for a PPO at BOG. After my last experience, I would call an Uber for a PPO.

We did both a couple weeks ago. We took the bus and it took 15 minutes and dropped you off at the front gate. Walking through the back entrance and then walking to the monorail takes about the same time. The problem however is the wait. Our wait for the bus was about 10 minutes and our wait for the monorail was about the same. However, when we got off the monorail at the TTC, there were CM's at the bottom of the ramp saying the resort and express monorails were down so we had to take the Ferry. That took another 10 minute wait and then we sat and waited for another Ferry to get out of the way at MK. All told, the bus was much, much faster for us. My wife asked me why we didn't just take the bus like we did last time. Good question honey.

"Normal" hours for Abracadabra are 4pm-12pm....at least that's what's posted on disney.com

Good to know, though hopefully they mean 12am
