Drinks at POP

I know this may seem like a crazy question, but does anyone know if there is fruit punch or orange HI-C to drink in the food court at Pop century. DS, who has aspergers, will not drink anything with carbonation or lemonade. If someone could let me know I would really appreciate it. He loves his fruit punch and I just need to know if I need to pack some to take with us.

I'm pretty sure they have apple juice, I can't remember any fruit punch (but I may be wrong).

You could ask or search on the Disney Dining board, they may know for sure.

Hi-C is a Coke product, so although I don't know for sure for POP, it's very likely they do have Hi-C. I'm pretty sure I have seen orange Hi-C at other drink stations at WDW; don't think I have ever seen fruit punch.

Thank you so much for the information. This is sort of a suprise trip for DS. I wanted him to be in on the planning, so I told him we would be going dec 2008. We are really going this christmas. I can't wait to take him. The last time I went was when I was 16 and that was almost 16 years ago. It's going to be like going for the first time for me too, so much has changed.

I don't know about POP, but I know a number of hotels (POFQ springs to mind first) have both Hi-C and fruit punch on the drinks island from the soda machines. Have you tried asking on the resort or dining boards? They might be able to help. Good luck

I've never stayed there myself, but as the Mom of a child with AS, I know how important this little detail can be. I found the following information on allearsnet.com:

I also know that the gift shops at AKL and WL have groceries available and if POP does too, you might be able to purchase some acceptable drinks to keep in your room.

OMG OMG OMG Call and ask for Michael or Kristen (the chef's at Pop!) They are the BEST and if they do not have punch they will TRY to get it for you! We always stay there because of them, with my allergies I have had the BEST meals there!!! I think I have Michael's e-mail address somewhere...if I do I will PM it to you...if not if you send me a PM and remind me, I will get their direct number when we are there next week!

My ASD DS5 is also a Hi-C orange fan and the only place we have found it in the World is at the McDonalds refreshment port in Epcot. It's strange that the other McD's places don't have it, but I have been to every one there many times and they don't carry the orange flavor. The food courts sometimes have the HI-C fruit punch, but POP doesn't have anything he likes at all.

Thanks, I will. Kool-ade has those little packets that you put in water bottles so I think I might pick up some of those. They will be alot easier to carry around the parks.

We don't leave until december and I already have a shoebox full of index cards with items written on them of stuff I have to remember to pack! I know, I'm crazy but I don't want to forget something important.

Just found Hawaiian Punch singles at our local Walgreen's store! They were on sale for $1 a box (8 servings) needless to say we now have 10 boxes Didn't want to risk not being able to find them again.

They also have the blue and coke icees at Pop which aren't carbonated. ---Kathy
