Is it true that there is no drinking age in Epcot(Germany)? My daughter is 18 and that is what she told me. Does anyone know if this is true? :confused3

Unfortunately, the US drinking age of 21 applies, even though you are in Germany. Lol, tell your daughter it was a nice try though.

Tell your daughter she can have wine in Italy and France.

Sorry, couldn't resisit.

you must be 21 at walt disney world including the germany pavilion at epcot or anywhere else in the usa to drink legally.

your dd is wrong.

Take her to Ice Station Cool and tell her to try the Beverly. It's what all the grown ups are drinking. :earsboy:

In Germany, as in most enlightened countries, there is a very low, if any, minimum age for alcoholic beverages. Some have no restriction on beer and wine.

Even New York State used to have a minimum age of 18 until the Federal Government said something about requiring a minimum age of 21 or the state would not get road construction funds.

Now that those laws are settled, the law in the State of Florida is 21 years old. There is no legal extraterritoriality at WDW, so those laws do apply.

If you are with your parents and not conspicuous about it, they might allow you a sip of their beer or wine for a taste. However, it is still not legal.

:scared1: this has got to be the worst tasting form of Coke known to man in my opinion :crazy2:

Just buy her a coke, tell her it's a rum and coke and to drink it slow and tell her she was right. If she says she can't taste the rum just tell her it's the new Meyers mixer that doesn't have that hard bite associated with Baccardi. She'll buy it. Don't tell her the truth untill you get home.

But you have to admit it was a nice try. :rotfl2:

No, not Germany. She can however drink on Mission Space since our laws don't apply once you leave the earth.
