My husband and I are leaving on an adults only trip in 4 days. We going to Epcot only on one day. I want to try some of the various drinks offered around the world pavilion but I am a lightweight when it comes to drinking.

Any tips or suggestion to manage that many drinks in one day?

Also any suggestion on which drinks I need to try and which I can skip.

Thanks.

Hello, fellow lightweight! I always split the drinks with a friend or traveling companion (as long as we aren't driving afterward!) Also, I select a good assortment of savory foods to enjoy with my drinks. Do you prefer wine, spirits, or beer? I think that will determine what you should try or skip. The Grand Marnier slush from France is AMAZING and should definitely be on your list! Also, the Schofferhofer Pink Grapefruit Hefeweizen from Germany and the Canto Loopy from Joy of Tea in China.

Wow, great advise! I didn't even think of splitting drinks with my husband. I usually drink when out or when I am hosting but don't drink at home on a regular basis so when I do have the occasional drink/s I get tipsy really fast. :crazy2:

So I guess eating in between drinks is the way to go to not pass out after my third drink.:rotfl:

As per my drink preference, I usually like mixed drinks more than beer but do enjoy a good glass of white wine or cold beer with a meal depending on what I am eating. I usually don't love overly sweet drinks unless it has a tart element. I usually like tropical drinks and lime margaritas. I have already sampled the Grand Marnier slushy, which I really liked, but prefer the Grey Goose Slushy as the lemon seemed to cut the sweetness of the drink.

Your other drink suggestions however will be added to my list of drinks to try! Thanks for all your help, really appreciated :thumbsup2

Oh my gosh- these are my EXACT 3 go-to drinks in World Showcase!!! You have excellent taste!!!! :worship:

You're not going to get a better margarita than La Cava del Tequila.

Don't bother drinking anything in Norway unless you want a shot of Aquavit. The beer is Danish. (As someone who used to live in Norway, this annoys me greatly)
