Our daughter drinks nothing except milk and water. Is the water in the rooms drinkable? What about at the food court (cbr)? How much does bottled water cost on site?
Well, all water that comes out the taps has to meet drinking water standards so it's safe to drink, but some folks like the taste and others do not. Personally, the taste did not bother me. I think bottled water runs about $2.50 per bottle at most locations in WDW.
Are you driving or flying? We have brought a Brita pitcher before, to help with the tap water taste. It doesn't hurt you - it's just different minerals than you may be used to.
I brought a large 32oz Nalgene bottle and filled it every night at the food court to keep in the room. I had a smaller refillable that I carried around the park. I usually just put some water in the bottle to start the day and then refilled as needed at the CS locations around the park. It's free both places and the RFID is not attached to water or ice.
I am one of those who does not like the taste of the tap water, but I am fine with the water that has been filtered through the soda fountain dispensers. (soda uses filtered water so the water spigot at the machines is also filtered)

soda water is filtered to a point it is actually a mix of tap and filtered water depending upon the water tests is any where from 25% tap up to 50% tap some newer systems even have up to 70% bypass filters
And add lots of ice to make it even colder. We always fill up a mug when we return from a late night at the park in case we 're thirsty n the middle of the night.
The water from the beverage fountains at the food court taste pretty good. I just filled up my reusable water bottle every morning. I'm used to drinking bottled water at home and i didn't taste much of difference at the resort.
As PPs have mentioned, the tap water is absolutely safe to drink. But I find the taste of it highly objectionable. I think there is a high sulfur content that causes it. We always have a case of bottled water with us when we arrive. And a tip for coffee drinkers. If you want decent coffee (or tea) from your in room coffee maker, use bottled water to make it. You can thank me later.
I bring a personal Brita water bottle that seems to take out any yucky taste. Florida water is awful IMO. Tastes very different from home, but not harmful. I also bring Dasani drops. As mentioned the water dispensed from the pop machines is fine.

To my tastebuds the WDW is filtered well because the tap water is not good. I remember a cast member saying on a thread somewhere that part of the agreement with Coca Cola was that the dispenses had to use filters water. I do drink tap water so lots of places do have decent tap, but Orlando isn't one of them.
My dad lived on Galveston Island and they would have periods where the water while safe was not usable because of the aging pipes used to transfer the water from the mainland and the sulfur. I don't think Orlando is quite that bad but it's not anything I'd drink if I have any other choice.
