I was wondering, when you order say, a soda as your non-alc. bev. on the DDP, do you get refills for free, or do you have to pay OOP for another???

also, if you do a buffet BF, such as Crystal palace,on the ddp, is a juice and/ or coffee included in buffet, or do you have to get one as your 'beverage' and pay OOP if you want the other?
Thanks!

On TS restaurants, soda refills are free as are coffee, tea, etc. At breakfasts (TS), juice refills are free. On CS, there are no free drink refills.

As to changing to coffee or tea after having soda with the meal, it seems to be mixed whether this is allowed or not. Some restaurants do it with no charge. Others charge for the coffee after dinner.

We had juice and tea included with breakfast at Cape May Cafe.

There are a few CS places where you fill your own drink and I never noticed any signs prohibiting refills. I'll agree with you that in almost all CS restaurants refills are not available.

I ordered coffee after having a soft drink at all my TS meals and I was never charged. I recall one poster telling me he was charged a a couple of places.

CS meals in the resorts tend to have self-service drink dispensers with free refills, the CS meals in the parks don't.

I was one of the posters who was charged for coffee with dessert. One restaurant was CRT, last year before the changes. My memory is there was at least one other restaurant but most let me switch from soda with my meal to coffee with dessert.

If you limit the question to the buffet/character breakfasts, then you should be able to get both. We've been to several and have always been offered juice, coffee, and milk with refills - all at no extra charge even if we got all 3. It seems to just be part of the buffet experience. Other types of TS meals, it probably varies from restaurant to restaurant.......
