Is there someplace special you have to go for the "Drink of the Day" or is it available at all bars and lounges?

We really enjoyed the boarding day special on the Wonder. Can we expect the same delight on the Dream next month?

I'm not sure if all the ships have the same drink on boarding day but I am sure they can all make it if you know the name of it.

They're in all the bars. You can also get them at dinner. That's usually where we tried most of the drinks of the day.

Trouble is neither of us remember exactly what it was! I will check to see if we our our traveling companions have the navigator from March's cruise!

you can also get them on the pool deck and in the theater.

I thought I remembered from my first DCL cruise in 2013, that the drink of the day had a lower price. On our 2015 cruise, I got the drink of the day on embarkation day and signed a check for about $11.
Did I remember wrong, or dud prices just go up?

Every "drink of the day" we have gotten was a discounted price -- like $6 or $7. Even with the tip it shouldn't have come to $11. Did it by chance come in a souvenir glass -- because that does cost extra?

If you get it in the souvenir glass, it's about $11 with tip. If you get it in a regular cup, it's about $5.50 with the auto-gratuity. On embarkation day, the servers walking around with trays of drinks already made up usually have the souvenir cups. I generally bypass those guys and order the drink directly from the bar so I can get it in a regular cup.

Yes -- we have our share of souvenir cups, so we avoid them now.

Ah, yes!!! That WAS my costly mistake!!! Thanks for the clarification about the cups. I'll be more savvy next time :)

Yeah, they add up and after a while are a PITA to pack.

I made the same mistake on my very first cruise. I didn't really want the glass and didn't understand the price difference.

Does anyone know, if you are allergic to something in a drink of the day, will they do you an alternative for the same price?
