Drew Peterson has to say in jail.

I'm not sure if anyone else is following this case but as of yesterday, there was a chance that Drew was going to be let out of jail because the Prosecution had filed an appeal. Today, the judge determined that he is a threat to the community and would not be released.

Robin and others..my dear sweet cousin was Drews ex-wife.. the woman he murdered. Kitty (Kathleen) may have fallen for many of this con artists lies but she was neither masochistic nor stupid. I am sure her two precious teenage boys would not appreciate reading this about the mother that meant everything to them.

TandJ61574, I don't think Robin was implying that your cousin was stupid or masochistic. Your cousin had no idea what kind of man Drew was when she married him. Since the murders have become public, everyone knows about him and young women who choose to get involved with a skeevy predator like Drew, knowing what he's done ( or is accused of doing), are stupid.

Thank you for clarifying that Robin and I am sorry I misunderstood. It has been very tense lately with all that is going on with him and I guess I am just a little too touchy at the moment. We are all praying for justice and for this to finally be over with. It has dragged on far too long.

We are also praying that this will be over soon. I feel so sorry for all of his children. Although I'm not a family member, I see his kids quite often in the neighborhood. My heart breaks for them.

It's hard to believe that little Lacey will be starting school in the fall and probably will never remember anything about her mom.

Been away from the boards for a week and did not see this until now...I too, apologize for the unclear way my post came out...I also mean that now that the info DP is public, that women in his path come to harm and new women STILL choose to associate with him, that is who I list under stupid.
