Hi guys. I thought I would start a new thread on this. I know I said I would have my new outfit pics up a few weeks ago. Well, I finally got Kaylee to agree to go out in the 100 degree heat LOL and take some pics. Keep in mind that Kaylee does not like hot---Who does :goodvibes Anyway, here are the pics of the sets I made Kaylee for our Sept trip... I will send in several posts

Kaylee's Favorite Princess---Miss SNOW WHITE -- The pants have apples on them. The left legs apple has a bite taken out of it. LOL

And this is my most favorite-- MR Potato Head.. Just love him!!!

This last set is Kaylee's MNSSHP costume. There is a story behind it. She loves Star Wars as much as anyone can. She has always wanted Princess Leia to be a JEDI. Well, her father and I have told her that Leia is a Jedi. We told Kaylee that if the saga ever went on Leia would become a Jedi. This has always made her happy :rotfl:

So, I asked Kaylee what she wanted to be for the MNSSHP, and she replied:

JEDI PRINCESS LEIA. :rotfl: Well, I did the best I could to make a girly Jedi princess Leia costume. I tried to use Jedi colors...

She did not want to wear her brown Jedi Robe today.... TO HOT

Thank you!... I was excited with how the Leia costume turned out. My dd is very picky, and she loves it. I was nervous about how she would like it. After 3 days of making it, if she didn't like it she was still wearing it. LOL

She wants the MNSSHP to be at MGM. :rotfl: She wants to ride Star Tours :rotfl2: I told her that we would try to keep it clean, and go next year for Star Wars Weekends. She is so funny. She is so girly, but is very into Star Wars, Jedi's, and Lightsabers!

I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT!!! That outfit is wonderful! I laughed out loud! How old is your daughter? and When did you first let her watch Star Wars? I never thought about showing my daughter Star Wars, but she would probably love it! Her daddy and I do!

OH my those are cute! and the little model is ADORABLE!

What great outfits :)

My DD loves Star Wars too - we let her watch it one night during a thunder storm and it has become a tradition - just the originals mind you as they seem to be less graphic!

wow please tell me your considering listing them!! i love the snow white set! :)

we need more disney customs on ebay! lol

Amy (looking for outfits for novembers trip!)

DD started watching Star Wars when she was around 18mo. She always wants to watch it. LOL They are her favorite movies. Daddy just got a Master Replica FX lightsaber ( mace windu ) and she is just thrilled that she get to fight daddy with hers :rotfl: They crack me up. She has about 6 lightsabers, and daddy has a few too ( display only ). I love Star Wars too. ( odd family  ) But I was not to thrilled with Kaylee saber fighting with dad, at first. Two years later, I am ok with it. At least my hubby is taking an interest in his child. And my baby loves her daddy, so I guess it is fine. It has also taught her how to defend herself!!!LOL

As far as my listings go. I am so covered right now. I dont even have time to sew. I need to make some time. I am going to try and list some holiday and Disney related items after our Sept trip. I am also going to be list some of the clothing Kaylee is wearing after we return. I wish I had time to do some thing right now, but my volunteer work is killing me. I may be selling the Chef Mickey shirt. I made it with the idea of eating there again, but Kaylee wants to do the Crystal Palace.

Happy and safe travels to all :wizard:

That costume is awesome. I am assuming you make the bows too? Are they on barrettes of rubber bands or what. She is adorable. Her outfits are great, you have a lot of talent. Especially the painting on the clothes. Too bad you just can't do stuff like this for boys, they are really not into the big hair bows and ruffles :rotfl:

Thanks, and my peanut would tell you thanks as well for the compliment. :thumbsup2 The bows are made and attached to a 2 1/2" french clip. The sets with appliques are actually hand cut and sewn on by machine - no paint. I dont have a little boy, but if I did I am sure my hubby would not allow me to do any outfits for him.. But, I still would try something :goodvibes Maybe frayed cuff jeans with Dino appliques, Car appliques. There are tons of things you can do for a boy that is still boyish...

I origionally thought they were applique but then thought you must have painted them. Are you designing the appliques yourself, like Mr. Potato head, each part cut from different fabric. Are any of them a preprinted thing like from a pillow panel or cut from printed fabric. I love these so much I called my mom to have her see them too. My hubby is going to love the jedi costume, and how you ever thought to add the tutu is beyond me, but wonderful. I made my sons costume last year, I will see if I can find a picture of it.

Yeah, I start out by hand drawing the image. Then I take all different colors of fabric and attach them to wonder under. Then I cut out each piece and then assemble them to the fabric, iron them down then sew the edges. Nothing is preprinted. It is a pain in the rear sometimes, but in the end the more work the cooler the outcome. My dd is the reason there is a tutu. She is in ballet and loves princess things. In her mind Princess Leia is girly, but knows how to handle herself when the going gets tough. So, I made it to fit her image of her. I tried to use all the Jedi colors- brown, ecru/off white, black, and a touch of gold for her belt. The tutu is three layers. The bottom layer is black, the middle is brown, and the top is ecru. The corset is ecru broadcloth and sheered in the back. I thought that the broadcloth would look more vintage. Her robe is brown, and she would not wear it- to hot. Her belt(which is hard to see- under corset) is gold. She said she had to have a belt for her lightsaber to hang on like Obi-Wan. She also had to have a pair of Jedi boots. She has forever called those kinds of boots Jedi boots. LOL. Yes we would love to see the pic of the outfit you made. I bet it is adorable :goodvibes

I'm an ebay novice, and have tried searching for these, but no luck...can somebody help me? I found the madison*park*designs site, but can't find anything else! What do you look under?

You are certainly talented! :thumbsup2

You don't have anything currently for sale, though, do you? Kirstin's Mommy, I think that's why you can't find anything listed. If you click Items for Sale for her username she has nothing offered.

You should sell more - you have nice items! :)
