Is the dress code for Palo brunch more relaxed than dinner? My husband is planning to wear slacks and a polo shirt. Is that too casual?

Thanks!

We enjoyed two dinners and a brunch at Palo on the EBTA and my husband wore dockers and a polo to brunch and a jacket to dinner (but was not required).

He will be fine in a polo and slacks. I think it is a little more relaxed at brunch than dinner. My husband wore khakis and a button down shirt to brunch and was fine.

I wore khakis and a polo for brunch and I did not feel overdressed or underdressed.

Haha, I had the same question before our cruise 3 weeks ago! Polo and slacks are perfect for brunch! It is more casual than dinner. Brunch was great! ( I have a review in my TR in my siggy).
We had dinner booked but canceled at the last minute to eat dinner with the rest of our family since it was our last night together. Have fun!

Having been multiple times, I should know this, but....are white jeans with a nice top and nice shoes allowed at brunch? I must have always just worn a sundress but will be in a colder climate this cruise. Thanks!

Palo specifically says no jeans. I would not risk it unless you have an outfit you can change into if/when they send you back to your cabin.

In the spirit of packing lightly, I have a black pair of slacks that I wear to a dinner or two and brunch. You can chose a top that is more dressy for dinner, less dressy for brunch. My husband usually wears khakis(that he has worn to a dinner) and a button down shirt. Enjoy!!

I believe the wording says something like (for men) dress pants and shirt or jacket is recommended. I interpret that as saying dress pants and a dress shirt or dress pants with a polo type shirt and a jacket.

That being said, I don't think that a jacket is commonplace for many places for brunch and I have no intentions on wearing one to brunch, I will however wear a long sleeved dress shirt and likely roll the sleeves up once or twice.

(in general) A jacket is commonplace for dinners, but rare for lunches and even more race for brunches.

Note that sneakers are NOT OK at brunch. But they have a lending library of loafers. Guess how I know
Funny you say that. There was a lady at brunch on the WBPC...I kid you not...in stretchy yoga-type pants, sneakers, a button-up shirt, and a coordinating headband. Think Olivia Newton John - Physical. We were rather shocked as we sat in our not-as-comfortable clothes sweating thru brunch because a/c is a losing battle in there.

**edit**
I have a pic, too.

There was a man at brunch when we were there wearing gym shorts, sneakers, and a Nike tee shirt. No one said anything to him. I don't recommend it but certainly a polo and khakis are fine
