Disney is just wonderful, isn't it? My family and I are Disneyland Vets, but we're embarking on our very first family vacation and in addition to the tireless planning I have done to ensure we make the most of our time but also relax and enjoy... I've planned our fashion out, entirely. I've also been slowly buying pieces to our outfits and packing them in a suitcase, so everyone has bright and shiny new "Disney" clothes to wear!

Because I didn't see any other "Disney Duds" posts... I thought I'd create my own (and administrator, if this is the wrong place for it, please move it). One thing you'll notice is that we dress our kids alike... which is totally opposite of "normal" for us. We do this strategically though... it's a lot easier to find one, if they run off or get separated from us, if they look like the other two. Genius, right?

So here we go, we're visiting October 6 to 11th, 2015!

Day 1: October 6th- TRAVEL TO WDW, Dinner at Cali Grill and MNSSHP!

Last Day: October 11th- Breakfast, Pre-Park Opening at Crystal Palace & Magic Kingdom

Still working on what Hubs & I will wear... want for it to really look "right", as we'll be aiming for some pre-crowd, pre-opening family pics in front of the castle (that's 99% of the reason I made ADR's for CP prior to the park opening on a non-extra magic hour day)!

This is right up my ally of what I was trying to coordinate for our trip. I am so stealing a few of these ideas!

Please do! We like to stay in the "spirit" of wherever we are, hubs and I have ALWAYS been this way! If you need any ideas, happy to help!

Great outfits! I love trying to coordinate clothes between DH, DS and me. I have been lucky to find matching Disney shirts for DH and DS and I usually try to go along with the same color scheme.

Wow! I am amazed (and feeling grossly inadequate in my fashion coordination). ;) I love your pirate day. :)

Thank you! We have sorta the same approach, except for me and hubs try and just stay coordinated/color/themes instead of getting a shirt to match match the boys... When I was a little one, I always went to Disneyland in a princess dress or Minnie Mouse (princesses weren't too big yet... more Minnie, Alice, etc... and really, nothing has changed, apart from looking ridiculous in an actual costume at the park now (minus MNSSHP, of course).

It's FUN to play dress up :)

Awwww! Thanks :) I think I may move pirate day to an actual day in a park... I really like that day too and I'd originally planned it for travel only, but it's a favorite!

Pinterest has a lot of inspiration on "looks" and I create some of my own on Polyvore. It's fun to make things and then hunt to find the pieces (or similar pieces).

Have a great day!

Cute. Just remember that WDW is A LOT more walking than Disneyland so make sure you have good walking shoes! WDW is definately worth favoring comfort over style in the shoe dept!

Thanks and yes, footwear is critical (even at DL, DCA)... so we're good there :)

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the boys' shirts for day 4? Those are so cute, and kinda different from many of the usual Disney tees. My son really likes Lightning McQueen and Mickey (of course!), he would love these shirts!

Oh no, not at all!

They are from Kohl's!

http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-20...-striped-tee-by-jumping-beans-toddler-boy.jsp

They have Cars (which our 4 year old like), Jake (which our 2 year old likes) and Mickey (which we've decided our 7 month old likes). They also have different variations (baseball mickey, mater truck, a white mickey shirt, etc... all with the stripes).

Dad's top also comes from Kohl's.

They are doing Kohls Cash now and there's a 15% off coupon (thanks6057) + free shipping if you spend $75!

Plus, if you use ebates (and if you shop online and you're not using it you should), they're offering 6% cash back! You can visit them here and sign up (it's free, it's legit, I've have earned over $500 cash back, all you do is go to ebates first and click through to the site you're shopping on, from ebates, to be eligible for cash back, super easy):

This cracks me up! :lmao:

Thank you - DS loves Mater too! I feel like I'm going to end up buying them all . . .

Ebates IS awesome! I use it all the time and recommend it to everyone! So much easier to use than many of the cash back systems. I like that they send me a check rather than forcing me to give bank info for deposits and such.

Us too!!! And I'm always surprised how many people STILL don't use it... but I agree, it's my fave!

We ended up buying all of them as well... Esp since, after all discounts, etc... they ended up being about $6.50 each, not too bad for a Disney shirt! But the ones pictured are already packed and awaiting our trip! All new duds for our vacay :)
