Dresses in Disney for girls

I guess this question is more to the regulars of Disney. My daughter is crazy about dresses and I know Disney has that one dress store where they do hair, nails, when you get the dress. I'm just worried about the pricing. I'm not really saying much to her now about it, but I'm think she would love it and I'm just curious what is their current going rate for their dresses inside the parks these days. I know Disney can charge more just because well they are Disney and they tend to make it where the stuff in the parks you cant get elsewhere. unless its cheaper quality or just a knockoff.

Any thoughts ort suggestions?

If cost is an issue, buy something cheaper at home (ebay?) and just do the hair, nails and makeup at the Boutique.

The styles in the park are definitely different from what you find elsewhere, but there have been some very pretty non parks versions through the years. Many times people will sell them online when kids grow and they clean out closets.

Not that big of an issue but her being 4 and the dress would be outgrown quickly I imagine, 100 I wouldn't mind too much spending on her to give her a more magically feeling and being treated like a princess, but when we start seeing possibly 200 or more it gets more questionable. I just have no clue what they charge now.

She does have a Elsa dress and Tinker bell that she got at the Disney Store just thought this would be more special. Why I'm asking here.

It's been a while since I've gone inside the boutique (usually a walk through to see if there are cast members with pins to trade), but I seem to recall the dresses running $50-75. Disney did close the Frozen boutique that was in DTD though.

I never did look at the cost for the whole princess makeover, though.

But this is what I found on the Disneyland website:

Thanks so much! This is great information for me.

You can also find a number of dresses on ShopDisney.com. They periodically have sales, so you might be able to find something at a slight discount.

In addition to the "regular" dresses (the ones in the $50-$75 range), they also have a line of high-end dresses (~$350) that features hand-stitched embellishments and overall fancier design. They come up if you search ShopDisney.com for "Signature Collection". They're very pretty, but very expensive!

I remember looking at those and wishing I had a little girl to dress up. I think those are LE?

also, not sure if you're active on FB but there are lots of people selling dresses too.

The regular (non-limited edition, etc) dresses in the parks are generally $59.95 if I recall correctly. They're generally cheaper at the Disney store (even the disney store in DTD) or obviously secondhand, etc. The Castle package comes with a dress and used to be worth it to us (about $220 with tax) but now that you don't get to skip the line for meeting princesses I'd sooner bring my own dress I think. Overall it's super fun for girls - my daughter went at age 3, and age 5 - she's 6.5 and she wants to do it again next time we go.

Anyone have experience with finding a princess dress in larger size - 12/14? My 10 year old is super tall and skinny for her age and I cannot find a dress to fit her. She's not as into princesses in the past but she's dying to the princess makeover wth her 8 year old sister. We never went to Disneyland when she was teeny and I'd love for her to get the chance to experience it before she ages out.

Standard dresses (i.e. not Deluxe or limited edition) in the parks these days are typically $64.95. They are different from the dresses typically found in the regular Disney stores (except for the deluxe ones like Cinderella or Belle's wedding dress - they're the same). While dresses larger than 9/10 are not for sale at regular Disney stores, I have seen ones as large as 12/14 for sale in the Boutique store and other locations around the parks.
