Dress up days

On Marvel heroes, you can only dress up as Marvel heroes, not villains from DC or Marvel or DC heroes? Can you dress up as Darkling Duck or any of its villains?

I have never done one of the Marvel days cruises but only very rarely have I seen Disney say you can't to anything as long as it is not a safety issue. They just don't say NO that often. I walked into a dinning room on "formal night" in dress shorts and a Hawaiian shirt and no one said a thing. I just can't imagine they would tell a person their Halloween costume was wrong.

I'm assuming that there will be plenty of people dressed as Marvel villains because trip reports from the Star Wars cruises have shown many people dressed as Star Wars villains.

Disney won't care if you dress up as some other 'brand' of superhero/villain but other passengers will inevitably comment.

We're planning on wearing Star Trek uniforms on our Star Wars cruise...
