Dress Shirt or Polo for Palo

The official rule on the website also says no Tommy Bahama style shirts are allowed, but when we where there in March, about 1/4 of the guys or more were in TB shirts, including the husband in the couple with whom we were traveling, and another 1/4 in golf shirts. I was a little concerned for my friend when we first met up prior to going up to Palo, but there was no mention of it at all. I had on a long-sleeve Tommy Bahama linen shirt, a little dressier than the short sleeve print-type TB's, but I was kind of wishing I would have worn a regular Tommy Bahama ... until we all noticed it was a little chilly, and then I was glad I had the long sleeves!

Bottom-line, there doesn't seem to be any consistency to the application of the "rules". Based on my experience, I'd say that if you don't want to wear a shirt & tie, or a suit, then dress nice, no shorts, dressier shirt, and you're fine.

Of course, that's why in answer to the question, many people post the actual policy so we can see what Disney specifically requests.

And another thing to remember is that as long as you are following Disney's written policy, just because others like to go beyond that and add a tie or jacket or whatever doesn't mean others should feel pressured to.
