I was wondering for those of you that have done the MK shoot, do you get your dress re-steamed for the shoot? I am planning on doing the shoot a couple days after the wedding, and am wondering about this....:confused3

I didn't get my dress re-steamed, but my dress also didn't wrinkle easily - I didn't even get it steamed the morning of the wedding. Depending on the fabric of your dress, it may need to get steamed, that's probbably something your seamstress, or Carolyn Allen would be able to tell you.

i didnt get mine resteamed. actually didnt get it steamed in the first place, just left the shower on hot and hung it in the bathroom. the MK photos arent majorly close up shots anyway so unless your dress is VERY wrinkled, i dont think itd be a problem

Thanks y'all. I haven't chosen my dress as of yet, so I guess I will just have to wait and see.

Thanks for asking this because I was wondering the same thing. Our wedding is on a Thursday, and our MK shoot is on the following Sunday. I was trying to decide if we needed to have it steamed again, but didn't really want to pay the extra money if it wasn't going to be necessary. I decided against it because of what a previous poster mentioned - the pictures aren't really close-ups.
