Dress color help!

Hi all! I'm planning a Disney wedding and the only detail I'm set on so far is my Dress. The only problem I have is what colors would go well for the bridesmaids and for flowers since my dress is blue. Everyone suggest white but I'm not keen on the idea. Does anyone have any other idea?

What time of year is your wedding? And, what shade of blue?

I had a summer wedding with Navy blue, a hot pink and white. It looked very crisp and fresh. I love bright colors, but there was not that much of the pink. My bouquet, and a few ribbon details. But, it really popped. Lots of greens look really good with this color scheme too. but! It all depends on the time of year, and the blue.

It depends on the time of year and the shade of blue. For my October wedding the dresses were navy and the flowers were orange and it was spectacular.

It's going to be a winter wedding. The dress is a light blue it's from the Alfred Angelo Cinderella diamond collection. I would post a link but I'm new so I can't yet.

Play off the light blue and winter theme, add silver and a darker shade of blue. I would try to get a piece of the fabric so that you can find the right shade, too dark and it would not play right. I would not go to a navy blue, just maybe three or four shades up.

Other options:
pale blue/green
something in the purple/burgendy tone


You can walk down a ribbon aisle and get an idea of potential color combo you can do.

You could also do Silver and Ivory with these colors. The bridesmaids could wear silver dresses which would match the accents in your dress. You could do the flowers ivory wrapped in light blue for your maids, and silver for you. You could even add some dark blue pops in the flowers, and ribbons. These colors would be perfect with snowflakes as well.

We are going the polar opposite for our winter wedding: Ivory, Amethyst, Emerald, and Ruby. Jewels of winter with Beauty and the Beast undertones.

I love the idea of silver! I have been so stuck on what color they should wear but silver seems a perfect fit.
