Dress Codes

With this being my first cruise, I went out and got three "party" type dresses to wear to dinner each night. (Nothing with sequins or ruffles, but nicer than the typical sundresses I wear around town.) However, after reading these threads, I'm afraid I might be over-dressed. Can anyone tell me if I'll feel out of place and if I need to bring pants instead? Thanks for any input!! I will be on the Wonder June 8 through 12th.

You can wear whatever you like to dinner. There was such a variety on the 4 night last year. Someone had a gown on while others had nice dresses or 2 piece skirt and matching tops. I really worried and packed way too much. This year I am much more comfortable with the idea of being myself and dressing accordingly. Perhaps you could add a simple sundress and capris and cover all the bases so you feel prepared. Either way you are going to have a terrific time!

I'm not a dress type of person but I've decided on some dressy evening blouses with black trousers for Tritons and Animators Palatte, a black crepe skirt and top with evening shawl for Palos and a capri set for Parrot Cay. From what I've gleamed here you just gotta wear what you want and what you feel comfortable in for the 3/4 night cruises. Don't worry what everyone else is wearing, your dresses sound great

You know there was a newbie posting to the board today and as part of my welcome post I had this urge to warn her about you!

From the posts I've seen from you today and I am certain it was the right thing to do! We love ya BD but that sense of humor when one isn't prepared for it....
