dress codes?

Are there any dress codes for any restaurants at WDW??

As far as I know Victoria and Albert's the only one with a strict dress code. WDW is the one place on the planet where you can eat in a fancy restaurant wearing shorts and a tank top!

There is only one restaurant on Disney property with a true dress code, and that is Victoria and Albert's in the Grand Floridian. All other restaurants have no official requirements (other than shirt and shoes, of course!), although the "Signature" restaurants like the California Grill at the Contemporary and Citricos at the Grand Floridian do ask that guests wear "smart casual" (no shorts or tank tops). Even so, they don't really enforce that request. Like The Pirates of the Caribbean's Captain Barbosa says, "It's more like a set of guidelines." Use common sense, and you'll be fine.

Aside from V&A's, the dress codes are really more like guidelines, aarrgh!

There are "dress codes" for several restaurants, usually business casual (not really enforced though). You will be informed of any if you make ADRs.

The only dress code on property is V&A's....first they tell you what you can wear so that they can charge you a fortune to eat.......isn't this still part of WDW where people are on vacation and coming to eat after attending the parks??????

Actually, there is a dress code--at the "signature restaurants". Disney's version of "business casual" which does include "dress shorts" and "jean pants". T's are allegedly prohibited, as are swim suits, flip-flops, etc.
But as noted, it is rarely enforced--

I have booked Flying Fish Cafe (Broadwalk), and the agent told me that dress code is "Business Causal". Are sneakers allowed?

Certainly. The only prohibited footwear seems to be pool-style flipflops.
We always wear sneakers to every Disney signature restaurant.
