Dress code when it is warm.

Since it is a lot warmer down there (than here lol right now) can dh wear nice cotton dress shorts with a nice collared shirt to California Grill and Jiko's? What would be a nice footwear that would be appropriate? I see such a mix and this is our first trip without the kids so we would like to dress nice but not wear pants if we can get away with it. TIA

He'd be just fine. Shorts are allowed according to the dress code and in hot months there have always been some gentlemen in nice shorts when we've dined there.

Your hubby is fine in anything except tank tops and swimwear. Shorts, tshirts, polo shirts, sandals, etc.

Yes, he'll be fine.
It's funny how different places interpret the dress. In Chicago we ate at Cafe Spiaggia (I think that's how you spell it) DH wore jeans and a nice shirt and was WAY underdressed. We kept thinking how odd it was that they called it a cafe?

Yes this what DH usually wears. Nicer shorts, a polo or a short sleeve button down, sandals or boating type shoes.
