For the TS restaurants that require a dress code what is it? I thought jeans weren't allowed, but I thought I read somewhere now that they are ok so I thought I would ask the experts! TIA.

Could you be a bit more specific?

Jeans are fine virtually everywhere. I think V&A is the only spot where you may run into a problem with jeans.

I thought when I looked at the dining plan last year it said no denim at signature restaurants, but I had read somewhere else that now jeans are ok at signature restaurants. I'm trying to determine how many TS I want to do because I don't want to have to go back to the room to change after dinner if I'm dressed up to go back to the parks.

All the restaurants in the parks are casual dress(shirt & shoes required), among that the majority of the people in there will have on shorts, tank tops, and flip flops. Youre in an amusement park after all. Shorts and tank tops are the norm at MOST of the resort TS restaurants also, esp. the character meals. The signature restaurants are the ones you may feel a little more comfortable if you dressed a little nicer, though I still think the only restaurant with any real requirements is Victoria & Alberts...

Thanks! I knew the restaurants in the parks were casual, I just hate to have to go back to my room to change clothes if I want to do a signature restaurant.

It looks like you will be there in the winter, so dressing up a little bit for the signatures shouldn't be a problem. Wearing a nice shirt instead of a t shirt, or wearing slacks instead of jeans isn't that big a deal (just don't wear white!). You can be dressed nicely without having to worry about high heels or dress slacks, etc.

The Signature Restaurants have a "Business Casual" dress code. You will be told that when you make your ADR's. However it is not strickly enforced. We always go back to freshen up before a Signature Restuarant. It is for us, a special occasion, and we feel the location warrants the effort.
I think you will be allowed in with jeans, a nice shirt and shoes.
Good Luck

The official dress code rules are also posted on the Disney Dining brochures:

Jeans are allowed and plenty of folks wear them. (I have and as long as there nice jeans, you won't stand out.) I do remember reading in a previous posting that someone was really mad because they were not permitted to wear their torn designer jeans (i.e., the tears were part of the design) into one of the Sigs. Perhaps that is where the OP thought no jeans were allowed?
