Dress code for BlueZoo?

We're eating there at 8pm this evening. I know it's an upscale restaurant and dh and I will dress up as we always do for dinner, but our two teenage daughters and elder dd's boyfriend are not keen. Is it like other WDW resort restaurants where you see a mix of apparel? Elder dd wants to wear a pair of (very expensive  ) jeans with a nice top. Would that be OK? Her boyfriend has a pair of chinos and a shirt, but forgot to pack any shoes - he just has a pair of sneakers and some leather flip-flops.

reasonably presentable will fly at bluezoo. its the kinda place where you can dress as nice as you want to. you could probably get away with a nice pair of golf shorts and a polo shirt in a pinch. i wouldn't recommend it, but they wouldn't kick you out, i'm certain. but if you have long pants and something other than a t-shirt, you can be sure you won't cause any sort of scene, regardless of footwear.

reminds me of the stated dress code at emerils at universal. we went there when they first opened, and the code was: Collared shirts for men and no shorts. a couple of years later, we went again, and the code is now: No sleeveless shirts for men. and when i went, there was a guy with a sleeveless shirt. would've seemed an easy enough request to comply with. not very appetizing, gotta say.

I'm going there soon and assumed the dress code was above and beyond the parks. For a restaurant in Las Vegas, I once read that the dress code is "fabulous casual." I guess this is a step up from business casual and now I realize I may need to shop!!!

PS - I made an on-line reservation through the restaurant itself, and with my confirmation, they said, "Please be advised that the dress code is business casual." Just FYI!

We ate there in May and were told "Business Casual" . Our PS was for 7:15, which from the looks of things was somewhat early. My DH wore khakis & a nice polo shirt and I think I wore Khaki slacks and a summer top (not dressy at all). I felt a little underdressed when I first walked in because the decor was upscale, but no-one else was really dressed up either and the servers treated everyone "special", so I quickly felt relaxed and enjoyed the evening. I think kids, even teen-agers could get away with about anything. The next time we go, I will probably dress up a little more, but I won't go out of my way to do so.

Relax and enjoy - the food & the service is outstanding.

I wouldn't woory a whole lot about it--and certainly wouldn't run out and buy new clothes.
Absent a tank-top or a swim suit, my guess is they'll be glad to let you in.

Thanks, guys. We had a wonderful evening - the food was outstanding. I was a little disappointed to be seated in the far corner of the restaurant. We were right in front of a window and it was still light when we first arrived, so the atmosphere was a little lacking to begin with. Still, we soon forgot about that and our server even told us we should pull back the curtain to see IllumiNations.

Elder dd didn't wear her jeans in the end, but we saw several people in park attire.

mrslane - I made my ressie online too, but no mention of dress code in my email confirmation. Having said that, I think I made it back in January.
