dress code change?

I just noticed on touringplans.com that the only restaurant with a dress code is still V & A's. The date on the update is 9/11. If this is true, it's a huge help to me. I don't plan on dressing like a slob in the parks but we are having dinner at Artist's Point and Jiko's and may not have time to go back to our room to change. I'm hoping this is true.

I was wondering the same. I have Resv. at LeCellier and 1900 Park Fare. I might not have time as well to head back to the hotel and change. Can anyone help?

I recently made ADRs for Portabello Yacht Club, Artist Point, Flying Fish, Citrico's, and California Grill. A point was made by the CM to let me know that the dress code at each was business casual not resort casual. I don't remember the specifics, but it didn't seem too restrictive. I am sure if you call Disney dining the CM can give you the details.

The phone spiel may have changed but nothing else has. Dress as you always have and you'll be OK.

Also, when I made my reservations I was told business/resort casual, so they haven't even got this settled as of yet.

Note: I was there last weekend.

Do you know if you can wear Jeans at Flying Fish and Yachtsman?
I also read no flip flops, but what about sneakers?

Jeans and sneakers are not a problem. The real issue is deterring pool wear so don't go dressed like you just got out of the pool.

When I made our ADR at California Grill, the CM said no flip-flops, no hats, no tank tops. He suggested slacks, jeans or shorts with a collared shirt for men, which means to me no t-shirts, and a dress, slacks, or shorts with a collared shirt for women...again no t-shirts. He didn't say no sneakers, but I wear running-type sneakers into the parks and I don't think I would wear those to dinner. We are planning to change.

I was down in August and our party of 9 went from MGM to Jiko's and I was wearing a Sleevless shirt not a Tank top and when I got there they said no tank tops or sleevless shirt's allowed. It was ok for the women to wear sleevless shirts but not the men. Both my wife and my friends wife had sleevless shirts.I had to go to the gift shop and buy a shirt with sleeves to wear to eat there.

you talk to 2 different cm's you get two differnt answers - one said similar to what liamandcaili said, the others basically said no pool wear (flipflops, bathing suits, wet clothes, etc). So far no one has reported being turned away wearing t-shirt, shorts and sneakers. We'll be wearing our "park gear" when dining, however it still fits with the revised "resort/business casual" rules.

The key word is "suggested"...absent no tank-tops (or as we just just read, sleeveless shirts on men), swim wear, or "torn" clothing, most anything else will get you in. That includes shorts, t-shirts, and tennis shoes.

I was told by the CM today when making a ADR for Yachtsman that it was casual. I didn't hear the CM say Business or Resort but it was the only restaurant out of the 6 that I made ADRs for that she mentioned any kind of dress code. Does that mean she was making the point it was business casual or making the point that it hasn't changed and is still resort casual? I don't know.

Allearsnet says business casual is "No hats, swim suits, swim suit coveralls, tank tops, T-shirts, torn clothing or flip-flops. You can wear - dress shorts, pants, jean pants, collared shirts, blouses, sweaters, pants."
