They say Business Casual. What does this translate into at a theme park?

And does Boma have a dress code?

Thanks!

I wore khaki capris and a nice black tee shirt, my DH wore nice jeans and a collared polo shirt. It seemed to be the normal dress in the restaurant. There were a couple men in slacks but not many.

Here's the official Disney definition:
----------------
•Dress Code Guidelines:
Men: Khakis, slacks, jeans, dress shorts, collared shirts. Sport coats are optional.
Ladies: Capris, skirts, dresses, jeans, dress shorts.

Not permitted in dining room: Tank tops, swimwear, hats for gentleman, cut offs, or torn clothing. While T-shirts are now allowed, the policy remains that T-shirts with offensive language or graphics are not acceptable.
---------------------
And Boma -indeed, all non-signature restaurants in or out of the parks - are very much "come as you are," with your park clothes on. Obviously, you don't want to come in shirtless or with a swimsuit on. The only exception I'm aware of is Bistro de Paris in Epcot, which wants you to be a little dressier. And the guidelines for some of the "non-Disney" options, such as Shula's and BlueZoo at the Swan/Dolphin, might vary some still.

Just concentrate on the "not permitted".
Everything else is a suggestion.
And don't even THINK about wearing a jacket!!!
Boma has no dress code.
The non Disney spots (like Blue Zoo, etc) all have the same code as the other Signature restaurants (like Yachtsman).
In our photo we're at the Flying Fish. I have on a Disney polo and tan slacks. Mrs. U has black jeans, a tank-top blouse, and a green cover up. She's in sandals, I'm in tennis shoes. We're both dressed at the "top" of the Disney dress code.

We love the Yachtsman.

DH & DS11 wear Disney polos with nice shorts.

DD & I wear Disney tops with nice shorts.

Add some nice sandels or Tevas (no flip-flops) to us & we're good to go!:thumbsup2

I've worn (neat) denim shorts and a top as has my husband, as well as our park shoes, to all of the Signature restaurants. No one blinked an eye.

We usually go to a park after dinner and aren't going to waste our time changing clothes.

So far, no one has said a word to us, and if they did, we would take our $$$ elsewhere.

IMHO, this is Disneyworld, and people are going to be wanting to hit the parks after dinner, they shouldn't expect people to dress in non-park attire, particularly in the hot summer months when everything is open late.
