Do i have to wear a skirt/dress or can I wear nice pants? We are going next Fri night and then to MVMCP after. I don't want to be cold. Thanks.

You could always do a sweater dress with leggings or thick tights....there are a lot of cute sweater dresses out right now and they are super comfortable too.

We appreciate concerns about proper dress at the CG. The restaurant really doesn't have a dress code since it allows just about anything except bare feet and cut-offs. The CG needs to maintain itself as a place of quality dining by establishing a proper dress code...and enforcing it. We're not talking about a V&A-like dress code, but a "business casual" standard would be ideal.

I've been there a couple of times and I've always tried to get "dressed up," but dressed up for me is gauchos and a nice top. I've felt overdressed even in that! I've seen the flip flops and tanks, and shorts and no one has ever said a thing. Dress appropriately, but if you don't have the right shoes, they won't kick you out. They seem to understand that many people are coming from the parks and make exceptions. Make sure you save your receipt so you can come back and watch the Wishes fireworks from the cali grill- they play the music and its a great viewing area, as long as you get there a lil early!

Pants will be just fine.
And footwear isn't mentioned at all in the Signature restaurants dress code.

Dress Code Guidelines:
Men: Khakis, slacks, jeans, dress shorts, collared shirts. Sport coats are optional.
Ladies: Capris, skirts, dresses, jeans, dress shorts.

Not permitted in dining room: Tank tops, swimwear, hats for gentleman, cut offs, or torn clothing. While T-shirts are now allowed, the policy remains that T-shirts with offensive language or graphics are not acceptable.

The key word is "GUIDELINES".
The list of what is truly "not permitted" is quite short.

In essence they would like to see you dressed as per the guidelines, but unless you are wearing something not permitted, you'll get in.
