I remember something about a booth or column and I search the forums but have yet to find where is the best place to stand to watch dreams?

You won't be able to miss the booth where it's operated from!

Personally I think you'll get a good view from nearly everywhere - the first time we watched from just past the Dreams meal/VIP area (but in the centre and not to the side as the VIP area is) and it was great, the second time we went closer to the front and it was slightly better. People were recommending the path by the entrance to Adventureland but as we found there was enough space to watch from the front (this was in August) we didn't bother checking it out. The only thing I'd say is not to go too near the front, I think people have said that's too close unless everyone stays sat on the floor.

Everywhere can be hit or miss. You should be lucky to be in a spot where in front of you none takes a child on his shoulder, that could ruin your view a lot.

Appreciate what you are saying but what about when an adult goes and stands in front of a child of say 6 or 7 years old who has been standing, waiting for almost 40 mins..... This happened to us when a man of about 6 foot stood in front of my child and we had nowhere better to move to by this point as Dreams was due to start 10 mins later.

In my opinion, it is very difficult for a child of this age to see Dreams very well, unless everyone sits down or you are able to somehow put your child somewhere where no one (should) stand in front of them i.e. at a fence - but even then you get adults (and probably children) coming and standing on the grass in front of them. We managed one night by standing up high on the edge of the Discoveryland podium thing (but had to wait ages and the view wasn't great as Peter was obscured). Or, you queue for best part of an hour (or more) to be near the front - not so bad when it's warm - but it rained most of the evenings when we were there, and I hate to think of standing around in the cold waiting....

The best view we got for my daughters was the VIP area as it is slightly elevated - it's on a path and the path slightly slopes up to the control area.

Alternatively, you can stand and stake a spot out on the edge of a pavement - but be prepared for people coming and standing in front of you on the road - after all, they have every right, but it can be frustrating if you have small people or children in your party...

Good luck finding the 'right' spot.

Perhaps they should start putting everyone in height order, starting with the smallest first :rotfl2:.

the benches dotted around the area are good to stake out too, but you do need to get there early, as loads of folk have the same idea ;). We always managed to see fine (my DD is 11 and of average height) standing close to the bench to the left of the castle near the entrance to Frontierland, in front of the VIP viewing area and next to the popcorn stand awning there. One evening the couple sitting on the bench there moved to stand on it when Dreams began, and they let my DD, and a smaller girl, stand in front of them, so all of them could see, and because the bench was right up against a fence railing, they weren't blocking anyone else's view either.

I do see DLPDreams' point about younger children being able to see, in my opinion it should be compulsory for everyone who can, to sit down in the Plaza, so that everyone can see. We had a dry evening (just the one :rotfl2:) on our trip in June, everyone stayed seated to watch Dreams, and it was fantastic.

In Disneyland in California, the front area to see Fantasmic! is a seating area: everyone must sit down on the ground. It works great.
The problem in Paris is the weater. While in California they have a boring sunshine day after day, in Paris it rains alot. Sitting on the ground is not an option commonly available. Enforcing a "sitting area" rule only some day would be difficult.
