Can anyone tell me what the advantage is booking with DU rather than booking directly with Disney Cruise Lines. I know they offer a rebate but do you get the same service. I'm a little
nervous booking my trip via the computer. Anyone out there have any opinions.
Thank you,
Bari

The rebate was nice when I was paying off the cruise. The final payment was $150 less than what I owed. The onboard ship credit of $75 will be nice when I am on board. One of the nicest things I can think of is if I had to call Disney about something I didn't. My TA at Dreams sat on hold waiting for the next available CM to pick up, not me.

They have seemed good with any question or request I have had. When the $50 rebate came out I emailed my TA and she emailed me back within minutes. She took care of all this for me.

Another thing I liked was my credit card got billed by Disney Cruise Line not Dreams. When I told Dreams to pay x amount of money, it showed up on my next credit card billing posted to DCL. This is nice because I knew Disney had received my money.

Dreams is just a go between for you to Disney. Yet saves money and time for the customer.

Though I probably wouldn't have done it if it wasn't for these wonderful boards and the advise of many that they had used Dreams. When I thought about Dreams and how it sponsors these discussion boards and the knowledge I had acquired and money and time I will save on the ship and WDW because of reading them, it was an easier decision to make.

We are using DU for our June 22 (Western) cruise, they have been very responsive and friendly to my DW (Cam) who has been making all the contacts with them. Many times they speak to Disney while she's on hold to get answers right away. Good Luck and have a wonderful cruise!

We've used Dreams to book our last two trips - one to Disneyland and for our May 12th cruise. The first two cruises we took I booked directly through Disney. The difference - last year when Springtime Magic came out I read about it on this board and had to call Disney to get it added. This year before I even read about it on the board I had an e-mail in my mail box from Dreams telling me they had already adjusted my reservation and how much I had saved!

When the Disney Club credit came I just e-mailed by card number to Dreams and they took care of things.

They are the best and I won't hesitate using them again.

I've never heard of Dreams Unlimited until I found this board. But since I've found it...There was an article in our Sunday newspapers Travel section, someone asked who can they use to book a Disney Cruise online and one of the responses were Dreams Unlimited. So in the future I wouldn't hesitate to use Dreams.

u can deal with them via the telephone , u do not have to give them credit card info over pc just get a quote ?

Thanks to everyone that gave me such good advice. I'll be booking back to back cruises ( January 2003) with DU today.
