We got a quote that was less than the Disney site probably the $100 credit they offer. DH is uncomfortable booking with them. Has anyone had any experience with DI?

I've booked every cruise I've taken via Dreams. Been very happy with them and the onboard credit is great plus they send you a gift "basket" full of items you "didn't know you needed" on a cruise.

We booked with DU for a Feb 2017 cruise. Same price as DCL except they give an onboard credit.

Booked our 2017 Alaskan cruise through Dreams Unlimited and have been very happy so far. We are obviously a long ways out but our TA has been very quick to respond to any questions.

The price is definitely the same as the DCL website, like EatYork mentioned one quote may have included something additional or one may be a different room category or something.

We felt very comfortable in booking the whole trip ourselves through the DCL website but thought we might as well take advantage of the onboard credit!

One thing that's nice that I didn't realize before is that you are never paying money to DreamsUnlimited. Every time you make a payment it goes directly to DCL. Just nice having that piece of mind that your money is always in the proper hands. From what I understand, the TAs will also always be checking to see if there are any new deals or promotions that we can take advantage of, which I know if it were just me I probably wouldn't send the time looking for that sort of stuff once I had it booked.

I did a lot of research about my family's first Disney Cruise and my family even owed a travel agency. I search Disney site found what I wanted and was satisfied what I found and I could have easily booked it right then. However, I requested a quote from Dreams because I don't even know what I don't know. I was very happy to receive a quote from Kristie, which was followed up with a call to answer my questions today. 5 minutes later, I booked with Dreams. It is my first trip with them. So far, I am more than satisfied. I am glad I went this route and I recommend using Dreams over booking by yourself. Kristie was full of very useful information, including the benefits of certain sides of the ship, which dining time to choose, and a wealth of other items. The shipboard credit is cool, but the value of a good travel agent is worth even more. Plus, now when I listen to the podcasts, I know that I am one of Dreams clients.

I'm assuming that $100 that you were talking about is the on board credit. I booked through TA my first cruise and this time, I booked through Costco because they give me on Costco gift card.

Ask you TA why there is a difference. He/She should be able to tell you.

We use Beth Fejer. She has been great. We use her for both land and sea vacations.

I've been working with Beth at Dreams for my upcoming cruise, first time I have ever booked a trip using a travel agent....she has been great, super fast responses to my questions.

Not only does Dreams Unlimited sponsor these boards but they are an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and a BBB accredited Business. They have been providing exceptional customer service for over 15 years. When you submit your payment to them it will be paid to DCL directly, not Dreams Unlimited, so there is no need to worry or feel uncomfortable that something could go wrong on that end. :goodvibes

We used them for our last cruise and we love out TA Ally Thomas. She was always prompt in answering questions and even answered a last minute question before our cruise while she was on vacation. We are planning to book another Disney Cruise for May 2018 and she has us on her list of people to contact then prices are released. I find the website difficult to use since the upgrade. I could not even find where to add transportation costs into the price of the cruise. I just fill out the payment form and with my information and I get an email confirmation of payment received. She was even able to request we got just a table for the 3 of us and they granted that request. We are not big on eating with strangers.

How long does it normally take to get an email response from your DU TA?

For us, it's the same day. 2-8 hrs. I haven't had any time sensitive questions, I just asked about adding the Disney Visa beverage credit and passport #'s. We have Allison. We're only using a TA to get OBC. I'm a planner by nature, so I already knew the exact stateroom I wanted and the cost when I first contacted DU.
