Hi all, has anyone from the UK used Dreams Unlited Travel to book their holiday? I'm an avid listener to the dis podcast and it sounds like DUT offer a really good service. They have never said however if they offer their services to UK travellers. If anyone has used their services your comments would be appreciated.

weve used them loads of times to book hotels , and for the disney cruise too, there very good and normally offer a good price , we got a better price on our cruise than with disney direct!

Yep no reason why you couldn't use them from the UK, they do offer good services too, like checking any discounts that come up for the dates you've booked, and even making ADR's for you.

Sadly tho they couldn't beat the prices for either of my hotels this year round :(

:goodvibes

We've used them in the past to book AKL with Savannah View. Service excellent, competitive price and as (at that point) inexperienced vacationers in staying onsite, their advice and help was superb. Booked the Beach Club this year, but got a better deal doing it ourselves, however as we know the ropes now, we don't really need their extra level of expertise.

Hi,

weve used them in the past to book Disney hotels, really good service and good prices to match. Would certainly recommend:cool1:

We have used Dreams and would recommend them:thumbsup2

You have to remember you will pay in dollars though. They only book through the US. There are pluses and minuses to this. You get to benefit from the better cancellation policies of the us but you are the mercy of any exchange rate fluctuations.

I used them for our cruise last year. Really helpful, and very prompt responces vie email. Would recommend them!

I can also add to the list of recommendations :thumbsup2 used them when we stayed at WL - they also booked our ADR's.

Used them for tickets but they couldn't beat the universal room offers

Are there any disadvantages booking a WDW package with them instead of with Disney US directly? I mean things like viewing your ressies online, online check in, associating your ADRs with your reservation, etc? I am keeping an open mind about how and with whom to book next year so I am keenly looking at all the possibilities.

We have booked our cruise this year with them and they have been great, easy email contact throughout. Certainly so far as the cruise is concerned, they gave us our Disney reservation number so we can check everything on the Disney site and book any additional bits directly if we choose.

As the OP noted, they are very highly recommended by the DIS Podcast Team. That can only be a good thing.

I have used them a few times with no problems their customer service is excellent.

Have used them in the distant past but on the last 3 occasions they have been unable to even match direct quotes that I have obtained for myself. So they are not necessarily the cheapest way to book
When I did book I had no complaints (apart from them booking a pile of ADRs that I hadn't asked for - no biggie as my DD would say)

Only a couple of days ago I sent an email to our Dreams TA waxing lyrical about the great service she/Dreams offer! :lovestruc

I used Dreams to book an offsite hotel room for our last trip (we we're in a villa the rest of the time) and now have our December trip (onsite) booked with them. We're planning junkies so we've done all the sums to make sure we get the best room rates/ticket prices etc. Still hoping for some December AP discounts! Can't really comment on the best rates, that's a comparison that everyone really has to do for their specific requirements.

What I can comment on is the level of service. It's really been above and beyond - effiecient/helpful/friendly don't really do it justice. After booking our accomodation, we kind of expected that to be it (being happy to make our own ADRs), but our TA has kept in touch to let us know when things such as dates/tickets for MVMCP become available, remind us about our 180 window, offer advice with restaurant choices, answer some questions we had about HoB and Garden Grove (actually, going beyond answering the question and offering to monitor the ticket situation for us). Suffice to say, we're impressed.

We're not the most experienced WDW visitors, but we've gotten so addicted to planning that we're pretty confident about what we're doing - Dbf and I are both on the Dis, both podcast fans, had TGM for our last trip and I've read just about every guide book available since 2008! :lmao:

So, do we NEED the extra services? Not necessarily, but it's been great to have someone on hand who's so willing to help and has proven useful despite all our own research. So, I'd still recommend them for planning addicts. For everyone else, especially those who don't enjoy planning or are new to it all...well, I'll stop short of chasing them over to the Dreams website at banana-point, but only just!

At the end of the day, that is what makes the difference! :thumbsup2

i've used them for a disney cruise....
outstanding service when i had to change my reservation 3 different times (at least)...
from one sailing to a different sailing and then a different sailing..
wait...it was actually 4 different times....from a may sailing to june, then to september and finally to a december sailing...

and each change the agent was as sweet as could be about it and it was no problem at all...

I booked our Disney cruise through them. The only reason I used them was for the for the extra OBC.

I found them hit and miss with answering e-mails. I don't know if I'd bother using them again.
