Is DU still giving stateroom gifts? Loved the white chocolate dipped strawberries on our last cruise!

If I'm reading it right, the stateroom gifts aren't really from DU. The gifts are from DCL, in cases where a travel agency books more than eight staterooms on the same cruise (and those staterooms aren't a group booking). It's an incentive program for travel agencies. Because DU books so many Disney Cruises, many DU customers received the gifts.

I booked through DU for our next cruise. I was pleased to see that we would be receiving the stateroom gift, because DU booked 18 staterooms for that cruise. But the message about the gift no longer appears when I display my reservation through the DU website.

From Webmaster John's post, it appears that DU would love to continue the gift program. But, in the end, it's DCL's decision, not DU's decision.

I hope we still get the gift.
