I have book all my prior trips through AAA and have had no complaints. I have read on these boards about Dreams Unlimited and have filled out info to get a quote. I am looking for comments from people who have used DU. Would you recommend them? How do they compare to AAA?

We've used DU a few times, and they are great. Much more WDW info and focus than our local AAA office.

I have used DU four times. I thought they were really wonderful. They also worked to get me the lowest price - even months after I made the ressie.

I have no idea of how they compare to AAA.

So far so good for DU. We booked two catagory six land and sea package and they gave us $200.00 per stateroom on board credit

I just used them to quote out a Disney 4 night cruise. Both of their quotes for differtent dates were a little less the the ones I got from the Actual DCL site! Their e-mails are promptly returned and very curtious!

My Nov trip will be the 3rd trip I have used Dreams, they have been great everytime, I've had the same agent all 3 times, she is the best :thumbsup2

We used them for our 2nd trip in 2003. They were really great and saved us a tonne of money. They got us an awesome rate of @179 per night with the Club Level for 11 nights. I'd highly recommend them.

I must be the exception. We tried DU for 11/13-11/28 and they were $400.00 more than my booking. Same thing a year or so ago. We have better luck doing it ourselves everytime.

Our November trip will mark our 8th time using DU and we still love them and recommend them to everyone we know who is a WDW novice. Even if you've been to WDW quite a few times, as we have, you can benefit tremendously from their services. I love never having to make all those calls for reservations and ADR's, like I do for other vacation destinations. I especially love not having to beat the clock, then wait on hold trying to get a discount (our agent does it for us - love ya Cathy!). The personalized itinerary that is made for you, and that you print up to take with you, is priceless to me. I've never had to wait more than a couple of hours for a response to one of my emails, and I frequently receive a response within an hour (sometimes within minutes!).

The prices they quote you are straight from WDTC, so I don't see how they could be more (or less for that matter) than rates you've looked up yourself - unless their not quoting exactly the same thing you've looked up...

Has anyone ever used Small World Vacations, I know this is a little off topic, but I was just curious.:thumbsup2

I wanted to book DU and I am sure they are great. But my problems was it is email only. Which isn't odd but not for me. I wanted to book 5 nights land and 3 nights sea air and meal plan I had days on hoppers so had to book them separately. So I had to buy hoppers for one day off our stay to get the meal plan. So with so many parts going on. I didn't feel comfortable doing it via email didn't want anything lost in translation. So I used WDW travel. Which I didn't want to do because I love the podcast and the boards and wanted to support DU. Wound up $3300 for every thing I did make about 7 calls maybe thats why they are email only.

ANother happy DU'er. I usually book my own and then turn the reservation over to Sue Ellen, our usual DU travel agent. I then have the benefit of knowing if any better codes come out she can have them applied for me without my having to stay on the phone/computer forever. This time I booked AAA room only, but if a general code comes out that's better she can switch it over for me. They can do AAA room only, just not the packages.

We have used DU 6 times in the past 3 years, and I love the service they provide. We just booked a trip for Feb. 08, last week, and our agent got us the 20% AAA discount. I have always made ADR's thru DU and everything has always been prefect. We have worked with the same travel agent each time and she has given us some really great tips and advice.:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Dh & I are using DU for our upcoming WDW trip. Sue Ellen is very helpful and gets back to me right away! She answers every question I have and even checks for me if there are better rates. We just saved $140.00 by switching from ASMu to POP! And she took care of the whole thing! Another vote for DU.

Dreams Unlimited is run by DIS people, so you can count on it being up to date and them being on the ball. If there's a discount out there, they're going to know about it! It's literally a DIS travel agency so you really cannot go wrong!

I have used both and I prefer AAA ONLY IF you can get an agent there that is familiar with Disney. I have had mixed results with DU.

The last 6 trips we have used DU. Our agent Merrie is fantastic. She has saved us quite an amount of money. For years I always did the booking myself and I am so happy that Merrie has taken over:thumbsup2 She gets back to me within 8 hours of me sending her an email. I am in instant contact with her up until 1 day prior to us leaving and there is always an email waiting when we return.

I am using them for the first time, and I am sold! I've even referred them to friends, who are just as thrilled. They are very courteous and are very prompt in answering questions.

I just use DU to book my next trip which is for 5 days, 5 night at POR. They saved me alot of money over booking with Disney. They even E-Mailed me today and told me they tried to save me more money but the code they got saved me more than the one that just came out. I would defiantly use them again.
