Got a quote the other day for our land/sea package, 8-4 thru 8-11 (2005)
I had wanted to stay at the Polynesian, concierge. The agent informed me that it wouldn't be a problem to arrange, but the price that she gave me would be higher because of that. I asked for them to find out how much more it would be thinking I wouldn't be able to go much higher than the original quote. Well, got an email today and concierge is all set at the Poly and the price is $400 LESS than what was quoted!!! Wow, am I ever excited.
We even got our favorite staterooms on the Wonder, 7580 & 7582.

Boy, am I getting excited!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Congrats! Are your cruise cabins balcony cabins? Also, if you don't care to share, I'm curious as to the approximate cost of this package through DU? I have a cruise booked through them and just booked 2 nights separately through them at the poly GV not concierge, but I wondered if I would have been better off with a package....but our main difference is we're doing a cheaper class cabin cat 10 SPR so I don't think we could have done a pkg anyway wanting to stay at the poly. Thanks.

Voss, We are a family of 5 so we always book two rooms. We will have two connecting rooms at the Poly, lagoon view concierge and 2 connecting category 5 cabins, w/ verandahs. The total will be about $11,600. And it's only about $1,000 more than it was 3 yrs ago when we booked this same package using a local TA.

I too like DU. So far they have been great with our upcoming WDW vacation in July. We too are a family of 5 and booked 2 cabins but only 1 room at the Poly. Just curious why you chose 2 rooms at the Poly rather than just 1 for the 5 of you.

this is my first experience booking a cruise with DU and it has been nothing but wonderful!

sue ellen my rep was out sick but still had her husband contact me about my REAS reservations...i thought this was above and beyond

their pricing was fantastic and their customer service has always been prompt and friendly

i will use them for all my disney excursions!! :flower1:

married2grumpy, we always do two rooms whenever we travel. We just enjoy the space. With 3 kids, one being a teenager, having the extra space is a good thing for us. When I took the kids to WDW this past Aug we only had one room for the four of us and it felt a little cramped to me. It does cost extra this way, but worth it to us.

We also have SueEllen as our travel rep and even though she has been ill, her husband Steve, has really stepped up to the plate. They make a great team.

I have really felt bad for Sue Ellen...it sounds like the flu really hit her. She started last week helping me with about 80 reservations on the Magic for next year. It looks like our group will be a final total of 60, but Sue Ellen's husband really did step up to the plate and help me wiht everyone's wants and needs.

I agree, they make a great team.
Lisa

Here's hoping that SueEllen is feeling better very soon. That flu is awful stuff. Both DD 9 and I had it a few weeks ago at the same time. Thank goodness Dh was around to take care of us plus the other two kids.

This is my first post ever.

This is Steve, Sue Ellen's husband.

The link to this post was sent to us via email. I have to say THANK YOU to everyone that has sent emails keeping Sue Ellen and my son Trevor in their prayers. Both of them have been sick lately. This is the worst I have ever seen Sue Ellen in the 17 years we have been together. It is rough because she is used to being able to work on the computer every day. I never realized how much work all of the Dreams agents must do until I decided to try and help since she has been sick. It drives me nuts some days to see her sit at the computer for 10-12 hours. But I see how much goes in to helping people have the perfect vacation.

Dreams is the best but all of this would not be possible if they did not have the most awesome MANAGEMENT STAFF. They have been so helpful to me the last few days. I do not know what I would have done without them.

THANK YOU again and Nina I wish I was going with you. It has been a pleasure helping you.

Dreams Unlimited is the Best!!

Steve
