Testing has well and truly begun. I expect there will be lots of pictures soon and possibly some video clips from those staying in the Disneyland Hotel.

The jets themselves look very impressive (world of colour style!)

Edit- The fountains have disappeared :rotfl2:

I posted the wrong picture! It was from World of Colour. There aren't as many fountains as WoC but they're of a similar size and apparently are capable of jets up to 25m tall.

I'm glad to see that Fireworks are included but it does question whether there will be two versions of the show (one with fireworks, one without) as I believe Dreams is going to run from April till end of September and I don't believe Disney can have fireworks on all of those nights due to the restrictions.

It's only a matter of time before videos appear on youtube.

These were the fountains I saw last week

That's why I was saying that they had come on such much :lmao:

I agree about the fireworks as they is no way they will be allowed to run for 6 months even if Disney were prepared to pay huge amounts of money to the surronding towns

It's all very exciting isn't it and I'm so pleased to have my AP this year :goodvibes

By the sounds of things, it's going to be truly great. The fact that they've bothered to make an official preview video (like they do for most DL and WDW shows) speaks volumes to me. The Imagineers that have been involved in the project include the guy responsible for World of Colour. It's all looking very promising.

It should give DLP a massive boost outside of peak season. For me, a day at Disney has to finish with a night time parade and fireworks. Without them it just feels wrong.

Many first time visitors seem to feel a bit short changed when they realise there's no fireworks in the winter. I'm surprised it's taken Disney this long to come up with a solution.

I'm pretty tempted to visit in September this year instead of August as it should be cheaper and quieter.

A friend of mine was telling me her brother's girlfriend had just come back from programming the castle light show at DLP - unfortunately she wasn't there for me to grill with questions!

sounds like a pretty fun job to me!

All looks great - I hope there will be fireworks before the end of June (and end of our APs)

Is Dreams only running until September??!! Nooooooooo!!! I was really hoping to save up this year and do my usual Christmas trip but I thought Dreams was running for the entire 20th anniversary season and not just for the summer.

I've read conflicting things. Some people say it'll stop at the end of September when the longer hours end, others are saying that'll it'll be on every night for the next 5 years!

I'd imagine there's a pretty good chance that they'll have it at Christmas.

If it's anything like the 15th celebrations, then they did extend them.

I can't personally see them spending all this money and set up on the Dreams show to only have it running for 6 months or so :confused3.

Perhaps they are trying to fill the summer season up before announcing it will run in the winter season as well? I think the latter brochure comes out early June so we should know more by then, if not before.

We are going mid October and I was really hoping we would see this. If they don't extend hours I doubt it would be dark when the park closes, it wasn't last year. Be a shame if it's just the summer.

They've been testing the fountains!

I'm trying to resist watching the video - not sure how long that will last though:rotfl2: I can't wait until June when we get to see it for real:goodvibes

Interesting ;) Have you watched it all the way through or not ? :)

I have. The projections on the castle are stunning. It looks like it's going to be a truly great show. I can't wait to see it in person!

I have too! It looks amazing and I can't wait to see it for real. Thanks for posting the link. :)

There's a preview of it for cast members only 29th march so I imagine proper footage will be available then. Not from me however as watching something throuh a lens just ain't the same :)
