We just got back from our trip and we were quite lucky this time around. On our first day we went to Buzz and got dream fastpasses. An hour later we rode barnstormer and got dream fast passes again. The next day at the hollywood studios we were at the animation tour and won dream fastpasses again.
Our almost dream was at the studios yesterday, we were doing baby swap at Star Tours and they were giving out dream ears at the loading dock next to us. I asked the cm if we could move to that loading dock for the second ride but he said no
They were only giving to that dock and they did it around 4 times. I was so sad (ok yes I did tear up some), I really really really want those ears!!!
The dream fast passes are great but with my son having the GAC card for both alternate entry and stroller as wheelchair, we really didn't have any need for the fastpasses. At the studios we had already ridden the thrill rides before they got crowded and with my disabled son, it would have been unfair for him to wait for us again.
Sooooo, the first day at MK we gave a family of 5 our extra dream passes that we had gotten on barnstormer that we hadn't used a single tab off of. We had used a few tabs on the other ones. The family ended up being foreign and had no idea what they were but my kids were thrilled to give them away. At hollywood studios the next day we had 3 extra dream fastpasses that we hadn't used any tabs off of so we went to a family of 3 and asked if they had heard of the YOAMD & the fastpasses and they excitedly said yes and we gave them to them and they were absolutely thrilled. My kids were soooo sooo happy to make their day!
Other smaller dreams, my 4 year old ds got to battle Darth Vader at the Jedi Acadamy and my 7 year old dd got to battle Jack Sparrow at the Pirate Tutorial. Oh and my 4 year old ds got to teach everyone the hand jive at the Lion King today.
We had a great time!
