Dreams do come true!!

Despite having a one year old with a stomach flu so bad that we were waiting for her head to spin around like the exorcist, we just had the best trip ever!!
My DH decided on a whim to pack a suit and some resumes in his suit case and landed himself a job. We are moving 15 minutes from the Magic Kingdom in December!!! He just gave his notice to his job today and we so happy and excited. It has always been our dream to live near Disney and now it's a reality.

My DH is switching careers- he works for a bank on Wall Street right now and is really sick of the whole game. We lost a brother-in-law and a best friend on September 11th and our whole mode of thinking has changed since then. We now live our lives for us and our family not for our jobs. Happiness is THE most important thing to us.
My DH has always wanted to get into the restaurant business and someday open our own restaurant so he accepted a job with Young Brands which owns Taco Bell, KFC and more. He'll be in the managment training program and is being trained to become a job coach for the company.
We have 2 baby girls (2 & 1) so it is the perfect time to re-locate because we don't have to worry about changing schools. We have some sad Grandma's but, they will be visiting us often.
We are SO excited!!

Maybe we'll be neighbors. We were there in September ... found a community we loved, signed up with the builder, came home and sold our house. Now we are waiting for the new one to be finished in Florida. Luckily the people that bought our home here in Pennsylvania are going to rent back to us until our home is done in Florida. Like you, my dream has been to live near WDW. This will be our last winter with snow, ice, etc. I'm soooo happy!!!

Congratulations and I'm glad to see September 11th hasn't tarnished your lives. We must all live in the "today." A friend of ours worked in DC--had his fill, retired and works at the World. The family followed him down and they all couldn't be happier.

Congratulations, my dear husband would never move to Orlando. It is my dream. We'll be relocating to NC in about 5 years to be closer yet not right there. I am soooo jealous of your good fortune. Enjoy life!!!

Congratulations. I graduated from the High school there so I know what you mean. That place sure has changed. The historical society guy was after me the other year when I sold my moms house. Her family goes way way back. LOL. We love disney and go every year. You are so lucky!!! We have decided to retire in Texas. Cheaper and warmer than NY, where we are now.
