Day 4...The Pirate and the Princess Party
After dinner and dancing at Cosmic Ray's we headed back into Fantasyland. WOW...it was like a ghost town. Being as it's often so crowded and slow loading that we skip it, we did Dumbo first. I was lucky enough to get to ride with Prince Ali (aka "Goofy") and boy did he love it! He laughed and laughed and laughed while Dumbo flew up and down and round and round.
Here's a picture of "Aladdin" and "Stitch" flying along right in front of us.
After Dumbo we hopped right on all of the Fantasyland rides! Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, It's a Small World, Snow White, Philharmagic, the carosel...we hit them all.
On top of all of the rides we hit an under the sea dance party. The boys had a great time cuttin' a seaweed rug with Flounder.
After all of that dancing the boys needed a drink. While dh and "Aladdin" got us all drinks the little boys posed with their favorite elephant for me.
So with all of that happily under our belts we headed over to Tomorrowland.
While there we hit Buzz Lightyear and then laughed our hearts out with the new Monster Laugh Floor. It was so funny. I won't go into so much detail that I would spoil it for those who haven't yet been. But for my money, it's just as good as Turtle Talk with Crush at EPCOT, maybe even better! Dh, myself and "Stitch" all had a turn "on camera". I was laughing so hard I had a side ache. They popped up a picture of dh up on screen and captioned it that he was going to be buying churros for the entire audience. They had me do a bit with one of the monsters who was trying to guess a number I thought of. And "Stitch" helped another monster entertainer out with a joke and told him a bit about the human world.
If you would like to participate, try and sit on the inside end of one of the front to mid section rows.
When we exited Monsters Inc. we realized that we were missing the fireworks. We caught the last few moments of them but we had missed the bulk of them while laughing our heads off at the Laugh Floor. A let down of sorts, but we knew we had plenty more WDW fireworks displays to look forward to!
After that dh and "Aladdin" went over and took a trip through space on Space Mountain. That was one bummer about Disney while pregnant...no big rides. However, I had a lot of fun while they were on Space Mountain with the two younger boys. We took what must have been the wildest ride on The Tomorrowland Transit Authority. "Stitch" and "Goofy" were both singing, laughing and acting like fools. Lucky there was nobody on the ride with us. All of the cars in our section were empty (except for ours of course
).
These pictures show a bit of the fun.
Who knew the TTA could be quite so much fun?!
Something I have neglected to mention is that along the way we have been stopping at any treasure stops we see. At most of them we collected chocolates wrapped in bright foil colors (Hershey's Kisses and assorted other mini Hershey bars), chocolate gold coins and at a few, we collected shiny bead necklaces. We really didn't make getting candy treats a goal of ours...but we ended up with a great big bowl of candy (large mixing bowl size) to bring home.
Back to the party...it was time for us to head over to see the special parade. Our plans had us heading over near Frontierland to see the parade. Along the way we were lucky enough to happen upon LINDABABE once again. I FINALLY had the camera with me and was together enough to snap a picture! My first picture with another DISer!
Linda is the pretty princess on the ECV. The other woman in the photo is one of Linda's friends. I know I have said it before, but what a sweet woman she is!!
After a quick hello and picture it was time to head over to our parade watching area so that we were assured of a front row spot.
As we were waiting for the parade to begin, our little Prince Ali had a very magical moment of his own. A CM who was selling cotton candy came up to "Goofy" and started going on and on over his costume. He told him it was the coolest costume he had ever seen. And then he gave "Goofy" a bag of cotton candy! "Goofy" was in heaven! He has a BIG sweet tooth and he felt so very special! THANK YOU cotton candy CM! What a sweet gesture. You really made our little prince's night!
"Goofy" was nice enough to share his cotton candy with the rest of us as we settled in and waited for the parade to begin. Sitting around with sticky fingers and sticky smiles it was very sweet moment. Everyone was so happy. We had already had such a perfect vacation and we had really just begun. In those few minutes before the parade began we had so much fun just being together as a family. I know those type of moments only matter to our family...but that one was especially sweet for no reason other then us being together and I just had to share it. For me, those moments amid the magic are what keep us coming back.
Up next, the parade!

I envy you, your SOLE princess status at your house. I may not be the only princess at my house, but you can BET I'm the QUEEN!!!!!
but when they do I will have my happy feet on!

That great news from home really topped the night off!
How great for him. I bet he was really glad that he wore the Aladdin costume!!
...that's what he told me when I asked his opinion). But both "Goofy" and "Stitch" said "YEAH COOL, the big characters!!!!".
