Hi all

In the process of looking at flights for summer next year (at last!!) , and a friend of mine and his other half flew yesterday fairly last minute, from East Midlands on the new Dreamliner 787, paid under £400 each. hadn't considered Thomson for flights to be honest, and if you're looking for a flight in the next few weeks, there are some great prices to be had, 10th September for 14 nights is just £298.98p!

If I had some holidays left I'd be very tempted at that price , particularly on these new planes.....

How did they find Thomson Dreamliner and did they fly Premium Economy or Standard?? Am flying Premium Economy on Dreamliner on 4th Oct and just wondered how it flew.. can't find ANY reviews from passenger point of view. Only reviews I can find are by journalists talking about it from a business point of view! Thanks!

Hi

They booked standard class, which still looks pretty good to be honest, but had a call from Thomsons a few days before flying to offer them an upgrade to PE for £40 each (thats for both trips) which they grabbed with both hands!! Saw a tweet when they got there saying how good the flight was, and they have been at least a dozen times on varous aircraft before. When they get back, I'll get some more information on the journey and update this post.

Cheers Mark, that would be awesome. Tripadvisor forum suggests it depends where you're flying and what the attendants are feeling like that days which I guess is just like flying any other time. At end of day, I paid for the upgrades because I wanted this trip to be once in a lifetime and we've never upgraded before but would be BRILL to hear what passengers really think :)
