I guess the Magic and Dream are switching? Or maybe the Fantasy and Magic?

That's too bad. We're hoping to do Europe 2023 and we much prefer the Magic/Wonder. Are there any ports that the Dream wouldn't work in? Like, are there any ports that physically cannot fit the Dream or does everything fit the giant ships at this point?

On the one hand this would be awesome because it's the only Disney ship we still haven't made it on (not counting the Wish lol). On the other hand, we LOVE the Magic. Anxiously waiting to book Europe 2023 as we have already cancelled our 11 night Europe cruise for this year (and of course had our 2020 and 2021 cruises cancelled for us).

We're going to Europe in summer 2023 and as the Magic is our only missing ship (by then as we're scheduled for the Wish, well rescheduled since they booted us from our first two in June 2022), we were hoping for the Magic. So, I hope not!

Don't think they will replace Magic with Dream for all ports. They will likely send them both to Europe at some point. Those European cruise fares tell you where the profits are in the summer. Might not be 2023 - they might wait until Triton 2. Looks like Dream will do the Med sailings, so Magic can focus on Northern Europe.

My guess is that the Dream will eventually split time between Miami and Barcelona, while the next new ship sails from Miami year-round. I also get the feeling that Disney will slowly phase out the Magic and Wonder from the Bahamas and Caribbean. Or at least make them less frequent.

Disney Dream is also registered in Havre and other Northern European ports. So it will do similar sailings as the Magic will do this year. Maybe from 2024 with the addition of the new ship they will send 2 ships in Europe (hopefully). I expect the itineraries to be revealed in 2-3 weeks like the last years.

Makes sense considering how fast some of the Mediterranean cruises sell, and at a higher price point, that they capture the extra revenue with a larger ship. We've been considering Northern Europe, it's weird to think it might not be on the Magic. Not sure if I think better or worse yet, or just different.

I know the Royal Oasis class ships and those are bigger than the Dream I believe do the standard Med routes. I am thinking maybe there might be issues in Norther Europe/Greece Islands with smaller ports.

This is exciting news. I would love to try another ship from Europe. Do you know what dates she is showing for Le Havre please?

New ships are under contract to sail from canaveral. Disney will switch to port Everglades for the older ships when in FL.

So PC will have the Wish, New Ship #2 and New Ship #3? And the Fantasy in Port Everglades or not in Florida?

Only 2 of the 3 new ships are obligated to Port Canaveral. It's very possible that one of the new ships goes to Port Everglades with the Dream or Fantasy being the third ship at Port Canaveral.
