The two days we were at MK we saw the Dream Team EVERYWHERE!!! We were so close to getting fastpasses coming out of Winnie the Pooh around 9:20 am on 6/20. By close I mean everyone before DS WON!!! They just smiled and waved at us and then escaped before we could ask anything!!
Not only did we see the DREAM TEAM everywhere, it seemed everyone was winning something. I saw people with DREAM fast passes, ears and lanyards. On these two days we were stopped twice, not because we won, but to answer the survey. All we got were stickers!!:rotfl2:

And then......on our thirde day we went to AK. As we got off the Safari Ride we went on the trek and then came out where they have the characters. We decided to get in line to take pictures with Donald and Goofy. And to my surprise who else should creep up the back of the line.... the DREAM TEAM. Three castmembers began handing out lanyards, we thought they were fastpasses, but they werent. They were better. I was afraid that by the time the 8 of us took our picture, they would ESCAPE again. So we decided to do a group photo. Then we exited and were stopped. We WON a DREAM HOUR!!!!!:wizard: We were 8 of 2000 that had won an extra hour in Animal Kingdom.
We were treated to DREAM buttons, a special Lion King Show and access to DinoLand and ASIA for an extra hour with no wait. The kids got to dance the the Fab 5, then it was off to ride Dinosaur for the Third time!!! Then we rode Primeval 3 times, as well as Triceratop Spin 3 times and last but not least DS and I treked our way to Asia to ride EVEREST twice!!! On the walk back, DS and I got a gorgeous view of AK all lit up. We were basically walking back by ourselves. It was.....a DREAM!!!!!:yay:  :woohoo: :cool1:

We were there on 6-23 and my daughters one an extra special dream too. They were everywhere and super nice. :)
The week we were there6-18 to 6-24 we kept seeing lanyards, ears and fast passes and the survey. :)
That is awesome that you guys won!!!

Thanks for the info-I'm hoping to see them this Sept. Last Sept. we didn't see them once.:confused3 And hardly saw anyone wearing Dreams. The same thing happened at DLR. Last year, nothing, this year, alot of Dreams seen and we actually won some! :cool1:

I would love to get the extra hour in one of the parks. Sounds Cool! :goodvibes

We have been very lucky on several of our trips....mainly because of my middle son. He has won us lanyards a few times, he got the special mickey ears, fast passes for all of us at AK. Seems like I am forgetting something...so we are hoping he wins EVER BIGGER THIS MONTH. LOL

I hope they're still around in force when I go in August. Last year when I went in August, you only saw a handful of people with lanyards, ears, or fast passes. Hopefully they're stepping it up this year.

Congrats! That is just great! I am glad you had just a wonderful trip!!

awesome! We won on 6/28 at AK dream fast passes after seeing Goofy... we were coming out of the bathroom by Camp Minnie Mickey... walking by the Goofy setup ... Goofy came and got my daughter by hand and walked her up to his tree.. then here comes the dream team with fast passes.....

We too hope they are out in full force in October. We were there in April and didn't see a Dream Team person once. We didn't see a whole lot of give aways either. Saw a few lanyards & a few million dreams mickey ears. But I had expected to see more.

Hoping that the upcoming trip this fall will give us the opportunity to walk away with something.

We just got back Tuesday (July 1) and we rarely saw the Dream Team. We only saw 2 families in 5 days with the Dream FP, too.

We just returned....:sad2: We were there from June 26 until July4. We seen lots of people with dream fast passes, ears, etc.....but we didn't get anything. We only seen the dream team once, giving away fast passes at HM in MK....but we weren't one of those lucky ones.
It was great to see everyone with their ears and dream fast passes, though!

We never saw the dream team. My kids started teasing my about it near the end of the trip, I think they think the DT doesn't exist. Saw a few people with the ears, but that was it. Very disappointed.

Does the dream team look a certain way?...Maybe I saw them and didn't know it. Do they have specific costumes?:confused3

The last time I went everyone except me seemed to be winning all sorts of prizes...

*sigh*

We went last Sept and saw the Dream Team (some insist on calling them the dream Squad). They are regular cast members, khaki pants, light blue shirts, but they put on a white vest with the year of a million dreams logo on the back and usually carry black shoulder bag. (At least this was how they looked last Sept.)
We were in MK for early breakfast with Cinderella, then rode Buzz, then did Space MT. As we exited SM the dream team was there handing out Dream Fast passes. I screamed as soon as I saw them, "the dream team, whooo hoooo!!!:cool1: I honestly don't think some of the people that got the Fast pass card realized what they had been given. We sure did and went to the front of every fast pass ride in MK.
Later that week, in Epcot, again within an hour of opening, my 7 yr old son spotted them and ran up to one and said, you're the dream team! We talked with him and he encouraged us to walk with him as we talked. A few minutes later he was handing out Year of a million dreams lanyards with 2 pins on each of them. We were beyond excited. :yay: We rode a few rides walked back across that area to go back to soarin about an hour later and they were there again and said, Congratulations AGAIN, you've won Fast passes.
It was sooo fun, I sure hope Disney continues to give random dreams after this year. It's another way to spread the magic.

Good luck on your next trip, here's pixie dust for the dream team: pixiedust:

Wow, congrats on your good fortune. We were there last July/August and I don't remember seeing them at all. DS11 was given the Tinkerbell keep/share pins when we were in MK talking to one CM and he was wearing his first trip to Disney button.

We will be there again in 25 days :cheer2: :yay:  so hoping they are out in full force during that trip. We usually don't make rope drop in the parks but this trip we are planning to make it to a few so hopefully our earlier arrival will improve our chances.

Regardless, we will be back at WDW having a great family vacation!:dance3:

We, too, were there for Free Dining last year for the last week of Sept and saw very few. We were there mid May this year and saw fewer!! I don't know what to say or think but I think it's more advertisement than actual giving out dreams.

Yes, same thing with us. I think we saw them once at AK in Sept. And that was about it! Do they only come out during Peak Season??

That is nice that you saw them. We were there in 2007 for 8 days and 2006 for 5 days and I did not see a single dream team member. ;)
