Dream Stateroom 8000 & 8002

I have read the 9 a thread but cannot find the answer....do either of these cabins- 8000 or 8002 on the Dream have the fold down bunks? I just booked them but am worried my kids will really miss having the bunk. Thanks!

I'm in the same boat you're in.

Actually, not, we're in the same rooms but on the Fantasy for a March 2013 cruise. We are taking our first cruise on the Dream next April and our TA assured us our rooms (2012 & 2014) on the Dream have the fold down bunks.

When I quickly booked my Fantasy cruise earlier this week, I didn't think to ask about the bunks. I would imagine that the Dream and the Fantasy has the same room layout, but who knows. My TA is out until next week, but I will check with her on 8000 & 8002 and report back.

We were on a month ago in 8000. We loved the room, however there wasn't a pull down. Great location, loved the window. It also doubled as a clothes drying rack!

Sorry, no bunks. We had both rooms in August as well. Traditional set up room with closets and bathroom upon entry, then bed area and then couch(did have privacy curtain divider). A bit more space in front between couch and front wall, especially in 8000, but no bunks.

Thanks for the info! The rooms advertise obstructed view. Can you tell us how the view was and why it was considered obstructed.

WE JUST CAME OFF THE DREAM IN SEPT. WE ARE BACK ON THE DREAM IN DEC AND ARE IN CABIN NEXT TO THOSE 2. I FORGOT TO CHECK THEM OUT. CAN ANYONE TELL ME DOES THE SLIGHT SLANT IN THE FRONT BY THE PORT HOLE AFFECT THE STANDING ROOM NEAR THE COUCH AND PORTHOLE AREA? WE ARE IN 8002 NEXT NOV ALSO. AS FAR AS OBSTRUCTED VIEWS I WAS TOLD ITS BECAUSE OF THE BOW OF THE SHIP. TO ME THATS NOT OBSTRUCTED IF YOU LOOK STRAIGHT OUT YOU WILL SEE THE WATER ANYWAYS

Spoke with my TA today who confirmed with DCL that the 8000 and 8002 do not have the pull down bunks.
