Dream restaurant line-up

Hello

Here are my top 5 in order:

Flying Fish
California Grill
Artist's Point
Jiko
Ohana & Coral Reef (TIE)

* Honorable Mention - "Fulton's Crabshouse"In downtown Disney

Two of my favorites:

Garden Grill (Epcot)- Good food & good character interaction - only character meal with Chip & Dale.

Garden Grove (Swan) -I have done this dinner on Mondays & Fridays, when Timon & Rafiki are the characters. Good seafood buffet & excellent character interaction.

I can't recommend California Grill and Jiko highly enough - both are marvelous. I also want to put in a plug for a low vote getter - Citricos. This restaurant is every bit as good at California Grill, but with a quieter ambiance. Mind you, I've not eaten at Shula's or bluezoo, but the best steak I've ever had at Disney was a Citricos!

I agree with walt's assistant that San Angel Inn is a great spot for dinner. We really enjoy it and the mixed reviews always seem odd to me.

Funny, not one recommendation for Yachtsman Steakhouse. It's a good spot, too - but i would put all the restaurants I mentioned above at the top of the list before Yachtsman.

Shulas
Yachtsman
Narcoosees
Citricos
Artist Point.

For us, it's:

Kona for breakfast - an anniversary tradition for us
Yachtsman - we love it here
Kouzzina by Cat Cora - another favorite

I don't know if you had GF Cafe on your first post, but that is also a favorite of ours.

For us it's
California Grill
Narcoossee
Artist Point
Bistro d'Paris

Happy Anniversary- It's 20 years for us too this year!

This is extremely helpful to someone who is planning their upcoming trip and trying to decide where to dine.

Thank you!!

For us The Flying Fish is our top spot, we eat there every trip!!!
Also Blue Zoo is really good as well as Artist Point and Narcoosee's.

Good luck and enjoy!

I'll be the dissenter on Flying Fish- while the service was fantastic and they treated us like rock stars since were BWI cl guests(gave us some free funky appetizer that was different than what they were passing around to everyone else) I was over peaed here. My risotto was greener than the sping grass. It was one of those would you like some risotto with your peas kind of dish.

But maybe we'll try it again. Perhaps I just ordered wrong. The ambience was nice and again the service was great.

1) Citricos (ask for server Nadim, You will be spoiled)
1a) Shulas
1b) Il Mulino

1g) Narcoosee's
1h) Yachtsmans Steakhouse
1i) BlueZoo

How long are you going to be in WDW and how full do you want to be? All of the restaurants being recommended are the better, upscale, fancier restaurants but they come with heavier meals too. Dh and I are traveling to Disney in 2 wks and we only opted to schedule two of the fancier-type restaurants and enjoy other options that we don't do with the kids, such as snacking/drinking around World Showcase. Don't get so full that the romance is forgotten, lol.

You actually get less food at the Signature & other Fine Dining restaurants. The portions are quite a bit smaller. I don't know if you realize that or not, but I thought I'd mention it just in case. :) Naturally, snacking around WS will provide smaller portions, than any other dining option. I guess it depends on how much snacking you want to do.

Considering the list caveat that OP had a list of places that they already tried, I can only think of two:

Raglan Road
'Ohana

We have thoroughly enjoyed the following:
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Jiko
Citrico's
Artist Pointe
Flying Fish Cafe
Sanaa
California Grill

After much positive feedback we will be trying the following in November:
Kona
The Wave
Kouzzina
Cape May (Breakfast)
HoopDeeDoo Review

Okay, here's the mission. I'm looking for some suggestions of places in parks or resorts that are on your Top 5(+) list of must eat table service restautrants.

DH & I are going to WDW in May for our 20th anniversary. I'm in charge of ADRs and since it will just be us two we can eat whatever and where ever we want.

Places to please NOT reccommend - we have BTDT, want something new.
Cinderella's Table
Liberty Tree
Crystal Palace
Tony's
50's PrimeTime
Brown Derby
Hollywood and Vine (??? the buffet right by 50's)
Sci-Fi drive in
Le Cellier
Chefs de France
Restaurant Marrakesh
Rose and Crown
Tusker House (breakfast & dinner)
Fulton's Crabhouse
Rain Forest Cafe
Captian Jack's
Chef Mickey's (breakfast)

We are trying to get ADR at V&A's in some fashion - Queen Victoria's Room, Chef's Table or just V&As....so, no need to mention those.

Please share your dream line up of table dining popcorn::

My sister has been to WDW 12 times and highly recommends Le Cellier in Canada in Epcot's World Showcase. I have never eaten there, but will be adding it to our list of places to eat when we go in 2011. :smickey:
