Dream: May 22, 2011

Our CI&S party is really looking good! Should be a great time. We were told by the hotel that we will be able to use the main breakfast area to serve cake and desserts if we want.

We should arrive around 4pm from Hilton Head. I'll check the pool for cruisers before we head out to dinner. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

We are hitting the road today(thurs.) with two stops in Virginia and the Gulf Coast before spending Easter in Saratoga Springs Treehouse Villas.
I hope everyone has a great Easter holiday.

And now "M J 98" has gone AWOL on us.

I know, I know, I'm terrible!!! But you try saying no to a 4-year-old with big blue eyes saying he really wants to have his favorite animals, giraffes and zebras, right outside his room!!! I stayed there once without them when I was there for a conference and they never let me forget . My hubby is excited to try Jiko, and I can't wait to show them the animals with the night vision goggles!

And plus, who can say no to a bargain at WDW?!

Boo haven't gotten my documents yet, but maybe my TA is getting them. But here is a question, when does the ship pull out? Still trying to decide on whether to drive the day before.

Chrisson:
I believe that you HAVE to be onboard by no later than 3:45pm. But then the "lunch service" at Cabana's and Enchanted Garden will be closed, so you'd miss that.
I would check with DCL just to make sure the latest you can board.

If it were me, I'd would drive down the day before. You never know when there might be a traffic back-up or heaven forbid car problems that could cause delays.

Come stay with all of us at CI&S.

I even have the ship tracker thing on. I am debating telling my Dad that he can watch us go by. He is one of those insane people that tracks www.flightaware.com to see what his friends, and our family are doing on flights.....

I am so ready for a vacation! I managed to put off one of the class cycles, so I will have a five week break during the month of May, so I wont have to drag a laptop with me and pay internet fees. Bonus is that I MAY be able to fix the laptop!
Come on May 20th and 22nd! Then time can slow the fark down.

Personally, I don't believe you need to provide cake for 40 people. I would think that something smaller for a celebration for the birthday boy's would be quite acceptable. After all everyone may not be "available" later in the evening, or even eat cake (yeah, right). If you had it left over, what would you do with it? And that could be quite an expense. But it is totally up to you.

There I go with the overly protective/intrusive/opinionated MOM in me!!!! I drive my DD nuts with that.

I was going to bring along a couple of bags of chips and pretzels from our local company just to have as munchies for anyone who drops by.

Whatever you decide, we'll be at the hotel at about noon time, so if you need anything picked up, I'm available.

I'd say somewhere around 43-44 since Chrisson signed on.

This should be very interesting and fun. I have 2 of the small Castaway Cay flags that we got on a previous cruise. One blue and one white. Maybe I'll take those along and "display" wherever we're sitting so others won't have to go around asking if we're the right group.
