Dream FPs at WDW - good only date printed?

I have a feeling I might regret asking this question. I did try searching for it but came up empty.

It is a well-known Disneyland open secret that Dream FPs there are accepted after the date they are supposedly good for. In fact, they are considered "good" until YOAMD ends. (Of course, this means there is a thriving ebay market for them)

Has anyone tried using a Dream FP at any WDW park after its date? Success or no?

Please, I am not looking for speculation or opinions. I am looking for actual experiences. I suspect that this is another way that DL is different from WDW, of course, but who knows ... Disney often surprises me!

all fastpasses, including dream fastpasses, are good only on the date issued.

On August 15, 2007 my family and I won Dream Fast Passes at Hollywood Studios and at the bottom of them they say valid only on 08/15/07.

Yes, and so do the DL ones (I believe).

Did you try to use it another day? That is the question asked and the answer of interest to me.

I am not trying to circumvent the Disney rules so I don't need the party line ... it is frequently discussed on the DL forum and I was curious. I posted this two weeks ago though and, with the lack of response, figured no one has tried it. That was enough of an answer for me.

I did not try using it another day because we did not go back to Hollywood Studios during that trip after we won the Fast Passes and I thinking about trying to use them on another date never entered my mind.

We won on 8/25 and it said good only for 8/25

We didn't try to use them on our next day to HS instead we gave the unused portions away to another family before we left.

I'm sure you could try or ask, but if it says only valid on that day, I am not sure why you would want to

Nah, I won't be schlepping my old dream FPs along. I was comparing the different cultures of DL and WDW ... it really fascinates me how different they are.

See, I wrote I'd regret asking and I do.

That's strange about DL letting you use Dream FP past the date you won them. We were there in May and asked that question to several CM's and they told us we couldn't use them past the date on the FP. We had our 16month old with us and we were moving through the parks a little slower and didn't have time to use them all up.
