Dream FP questions

I know at DL you can use your dream fastpass any day (not just on win day) - is this true at WDW too?

Also are the Dream FP's for just one park or do they have tabs for all the parks?

We won some last year at WDW at MGM or DHS now. The dream fastpass has the date stamped on it. We were told it was only good for the date on the pass. And there are only tabs on it for rides at the park you win the pass at. When we were there none of the ride operators took the tabs from our passes so we just kept riding over and over again but that was in a slow season so I'm sure in a more crowded season they would take the tabs off of the pass when you ride. HTH

We won them at DL. There were 2 sets, one for each park. But they did have a date on them. We were told they were only good for that day.

But we had a great day!!!!

The Dream FPs do say "VALID ONLY ON" and the date. But the unwritten policy at DL is that they can be used for the duration of your visit. I won a Dream FP on May 3rd and was able to use it all the way through my last day on the 6th.

(Oddly enough, I won another Dream FP on my last day. So now I have a completely unused set for my scrapbook. )

In general, you just have to be in the right place at the right time. The Dream Team will be told to be at a certain location at a certain time, and they'll pass out the Dream FastPasses to everyone who is there until they run out. So you may find them when you're exiting an attraction, or they may be at some out-of-the-way location like the pathway between Toontown Fair and Tomorrowland. It's all pure luck.

We won ours in the exit walkway out of Splash Mountain early in the morning. I think it was a good place for them to be since they couldn't be mobbed since no-one could see them except the small groups of people leaving the ride. Pretty sneaky, really!
