Dream Ears at Epcot a week ago

We were visiting Epcot last Sunday (6/22). It was a long wait in line at the Character Spot seeing Mickey, Minnie, Chip & Dale and Goofy. My 2 1/2 year old had finally warmed up to the characters (even danced when we got to Minnie). When we were done with Goofy... there was the Dream Team... handing out ears and telling us we won a dream... around the corner we had an additional character greeting with Pluto. My 2 1/2 year old was out of pages in her autograph book, so one of the cast members got a card out of her pocket so she could get Pluto's autograph. A little later, we realized that she had dropped her ears along the way. We were talking about it in front of the refreshment port (McDonald's) and the cast member taking our order said she had 'found' a set of ears along the road and knew someone would be looking for them. She went into the back of the store and brought out a pair of ears for us. (I don't know if she actually found them or if she had others in the back). Regardless, the whole experience was very exciting. You really do feel like you have won something extra special.

Congratualtions! It is special to win, especially on a hot and crowded day, and the hats are something to keep forever.

Yay for ears! We got a set for our family on 6/25 at MK. It was the highlight of my trip.

Congrats! And how nice of the CM to do that for you-I'm sure they were not the same ones it was just one of those "unofficial" dreams.

About what time? Just getting my info ready for Sept.-I'm on the DT hunt!

It happened around 10:30 or so (just before lunch because that's where we went next).

My husband keeps saying how much he loves vacations now and we are planning our next Disney trip .
