Don't know if anyone is interested in this, but a friend told me about this and how wonderful it is!! I think I'll try it early next month after the ski trip....

www.dreamdinners.com

Enjoy!

I searched and there is not a store in my area. It sounds wonderful. I was curious to the price, but it breaks down to about $16 per meal if you do 12 meals. That is each meal feeding 4-6 adults. I'd figure low and our family is only 3 so it would work. I do think this is something I would do if it were in my area. Maybe not every month, but every other to keep something frozen and homemade always in the freezer. Wish I would have thought of this idea, somebody's gonna be really RICH -

What I found out from them is that if you don't want such a large portion (enough to feed 4-6 adults, you can make each recipe and then put 1/2 in one container, 1/2 in another. So in essence you are coming home with 24 entrees. I'd probably go that route as there are 4 of us, but two are kids and are picky eaters. That brings it down to about $8 per meal, but that's A LOT cheaper than ordering pizza or going out b/c you don't have anything made for dinner!

Keep checking their website. Read the newsletter on it b/c it lists all of the "opening soon" stores! :)

Sounds interesting - wouldn't you know it, I just moved from MI to FL and see there's one about a mile from my OLD house ;)

It'd be a nice change from the "same old" menu rut I find myself in.

A friend of mine did this and loved it, I told her to let me know when she is going again and I might tag along.

I have done this for the past 3 months and I LOVE it! I have 3 teenage boys at home along with myself and my husband and often times we still have leftovers. I am hooked on Dream Dinners.

ohiominnie -- are you going? i may be interested too, are there low fat dinner options??

I've been doing something similar for about 1 year now, except it is called Thyme Savvy. Can't wait until Feb. - as they have two of my fav's on the menu - the Creamy Tortilla Soup and the Chicken Lime Taco's.

Thyme Savvy

This one is in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

We have tried things we never would have eaten, it makes mealtime so much easier. Since we are a family of 3, most meals last us 2-3 nights. Well, except for the Chicken Lime tacos - since they are sooo good, that we usually finish them up in 1 night.

That sounds like it would be wonderfully convienient. Wonder if either of those is near me? Hmmm

Oh --- there is one in Milford MA!!! We'll be moving to Whitinsville within a year. And DH works in Milford. This might great for the 2 of us!

Thanks.

We have a place called Main Dish Kitchen which is the same as the above. A friend has gone several times and loves it. Says the food it great and her family likes the variety.

I don't know when I'm going. What days are good for you? The more the merrier!!!

as for low fat, I'm not sure. I did see "low carb" options on the menu. Just go to www.dreamdinners.com and look at the menus. They'll have one for January and one for Feb. I know I can't go until Feb.
