Dream Dinners Review- LONG

If you were only doing it for two adults I would recommend splitting meals. When you prepare the meals you can put it in two small pans. With the chicken cordon bleu you would have two pans with 3 chicken breasts each.

We also have two adults and two kids and almost always have left overs. The only think we never have leftovers off is the ravioli dishes and the shrimp dishes.

I am embarrased to say no. We haven't been home much and I have done very little cooking.
I will post some more reviews when I cook something. Did you sign up for the Nov or Dec menus?

I wanted to do both but last night NOV was all booked! Just 2 days ago there were plenty of spots. So I am starting with Dec. I am just doing 6 to start because I wanted to make sure I like the food and process etc before I go in with the big money. I ordered Prime rib, almond chicken, pork chops, swedish meatballs, salisbury parmesan and grilled sirloin. I wanted to try the salmon but I'm the only one who would eat it. I am planning to take some of it to FW over Christmas.

Reviving old thread.

I just went yesterday to make 6 dinners from the DEC menu (see above) They all looked really good. I enjoyed the experience and depending on what they taste like, I plan to go again in Jan.

The portions seemed pretty big and the meat provided looked high quality. I'm going to cook the Ginger apple porkchops this week. I'm going to take most of the rest of the meals with us to FW in 12 days.

Comments from anyone else?

What is the cost of this program and it is you go once a month, get all the food, freeze it and eat it and it last an ENTIRE month or what?

They have 14 things to choose from. Most are entrees but sometimes there is a side dish or this month their was a "Gift station" to make a rice mixture you could give someone. Sometimes the entree is just a meat plus a sauce. Sometimes it will include a side like pasta.

You can buy 12 dinners or 6. It is around $200 for 12 and a little more that $100 for 6. Its probably more than you would spend at the grocery but it really boils down to about $4 per serving. I figured thats not that bad since it looks like quality meat (we'll see soon) and they have all the stuff there for you to fix it up. And then you know you have some good meals that you dont have to think about ready when you are "Brainless" (like I am most of the time at dinner :rotfl: ) Some of the things they have I wouldnt take the time to fix it like that at home....or be that imaginative.
