Hi

We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel on Sunday 23rd September for four nights but will be traveling over by car on Saturday,September 22nd.

We were planning on stopping off on route on the Saturday and as we aren't planning on getting to the hotel until the evening, we were thinking of one of the off site hotels. That way we can get to DLH early, drop our luggage off and head straight to the parks on the Sunday

I had seen a really good bargain for the Dream Castle on Expedia(but silly me didn't book it when I first saw it) but the price has now increased by nearly £50:headache:

Not sure whether to still go for the Dream Castle or if we should opt for the Holiday Inn, which seems to be really popular.

What do you think?

My sister stayed recently at the Holiday Inn and cannot speak more highly of it. It is 4 star standard for a fraction of the price. I would say go for this if you can get a good rate.

If the Holiday Inn is cheaper I would go for that as it is a great hotel.

The Holiday Inn is a better hotel to stay in than The dream castle hotel. I think HI is even better than Disney's Hotel New York. There is more space in the room and the bathrooms are bigger.

have a great stay!:thumbsup2

We have just got back from three nights at the Holiday Inn and have nothing but praise for it. However, we did leave at 09:15 and didn't get back until 22:30 ish so didn't spend much time in the hotel.

I have only stated at Holiday Inn and loved it, would happily go back/recommend. Although I also enjoyed the Disney hotels i've stayed at I felt HI was actually of a higher standard in terms of room, breakfast buffet etc ;)

Having stayed at both they are both very simular but we prefered the Dream Castle as breakfast was better and hotel was just that bit nicer as said in my review, but if it's only for one night go with the cheapest option, as holiday inn is also a great hotel.
